@thedereklee Keith price has yet to give me a reason to say he shouldnt be are starter, even when he got some snaps last year he looked poised. Besides sark and nussmeir are 2 of the best qb coaches in america, I trust their judgement. Go huskies!

As a native Seattlite currently living in a country with terrible NCAA coverage, props for posting the video. Looking foward to hopefully watching at least one Huskies game on live TV via ESPN intl, but if not at least there is a way for me to watch highlights of year 3 of Sark's rebuilding the Huskies to greatness.

Great highlight video.....as a huge Dawg fan living in CT it's nearly impossible to get these games on TV here, and while I flew back to SEA for this game (and will for the future home games), having a reliable highlights to re-watch afterwards it's priceless because there's no way I can DVR these outside of those nationally televised. Myself being one that use to be out of the UW tv circuit. it was frustrating to not have any highlights and if we did make espn it would be one run and a td and thats it. so i took it upon myself to try and reach the UW masses. i will be doing all the UW games for football and basketball. Very nicely put together. Thank you for posting highlights. That was certainly a nail biter. I'm not going to read too much into it. Eastern is a good, lower-division team that had months to prepare and get hyped for their trip to big brother's house. I'm happy the Huskies walked away with a win and without any significant injuries. I didn't see a lot of blitz schemes. I'm hoping the coaches are saving that for better opponents. Much respect to the EWU fans. Lots of class in the stands.

@WestlandWA Thanks man, and well said. we didnt do any press coverage on the WR and played very conservative in our play calling. not really going deep on passes, or blitzing. sure they wanted to get a game under some of the young guys belts. and im sure polk will get featured more next game too. GO DAWGS.

@WestlandWA And UW didn't have months to prepare? EWU played 15 games last season, so it's not like there wasn't film on them. The fact of the matter is that UW knew exactly what EWU was going to do. To their credit, they finally stopped it when the game was on the line. I think UW will be a middle of the road Pac-12 team this season, but their secondary is really suspect and I'd be more than a little concerned by that fact heading into the Hawaii game.

@clapinc You are correct about the prep time. I think UW was overlooking Eastern (whereas Eastern - knowing they will dominate most teams they play - was able to focus almost singularly on the Dawgs). The Huskies talked the right talk all week about how much they respected the Eagles and how they "knew it would be a tough game," but I think deep down, they expected to sleepwalk to a win. I am quite worried about Hawaii. I am thankful our #2 corner back will be back from injury for the game.

@WestlandWA I got the same impressions as you. UW needs to disguise those coverages better because I think it was pretty easy for Mitchell to discern what your secondary was doing. Having another healthy will definitely help. I actually think playing EWU will really help UW prepare a little better for Hawaii and that your secondary will buckle down and play better this Saturday. It was a fun game to have watched EWU and hopefully we made some fans that will follow us in the playoffs.

These highlights suck, where are all of EWU's 10-50 yard passes? UW had one pass go 10 or more yards. EWU had 6 different receivers catch a pass of 15+. EWU has all the offensive talent in this game and you kept out their highlights.

@conraddoavil UW played great, Eastern is just a better team that hadn't played in front of that big of a crowd before. EWU had the jitters and still almost won after handing UW 14 points. UW got lucky that EWU spotted them 14 points or Eastern wins in a blowout.

Eastern is the better team, period.

Great job beating EWCommunity College by 3! Everyone knew this was going to be a nail biter and it met those expectations. Fortunately the Huskies had the home crowd on their side (not to mention the officiating crew) and that allowed them to eke out the victory!
