I am not entirely sure what it is but it has been there for years and it hasnt bothered her one bit wat so ever she is just her normal cheeky self it really isnt a worry to me if it was bothereing hershe would have let me kno by now trust me I kno when she is in pain and wen she is tryin to hide her pain or ilness from me.
I doubt it would be cancer she has been healthy her whole entire life she is 24 years old if it was cancer I don't think she would be running around like a young filly she has had that lump for about 6 years, I would like to get it checked but I dont have the money at he moment.

coz we had a horse liike that and she had it for 4 years and one day we asked the vet to have a look at it was a cancer lump!
