I videotaped this unit on #6 two years ago, and I thought the horn sounded great, too. Amazing sound! Great video!! I love how night trains stir things up, and then they're gone as if they never came. As others have said, priceless!

'Showtime' it was! Amazing video; thx a heap for submitting it. I love Amtrak trains and this vid is definitely a keeper. I've watched this multiple times and each time seems better than the one preceeding it! The wail from the horn after the train had passed and moved further down the line was PRICELESS. Totally awesome...thanks again!

WOW! Show time indeed! That was INCREDIBLY GOOD! That is my kind of railroading as well -- Amtrak speed, power, and a sweet K5H thrown in for good measure!! And what a Doppler effect! You know you've just set a new high water mark for yourself! LOL!!

Those gates took quite a long time before they ascended... hmmm....
