In my opinion R/B/Y music is amazing, and will always be the original, but G/S/C music is fucking brilliantly composed and has inspired me ALOT musically... seriously... Idk who the Japanese composer who did this and R/B/Y was, but he is amazing and someone needs to hire him for more stuff.  I can tell they hired a different guy for R/S/E though

damn so much nostalgia, whenever I hear it It's like my whole childhood flashing through my eyer. Suddenly I remember my surprise when I saw ho-oh on somebody's gameboy (no one of us knew how to pronounce ho-oh =D), my frustration when I couldn't get past snorlax and that big fat liar that claimed having every pokemon except raikou -_-

Sadly, at this point there are few people that will buy the original G/S/C, even if they're remade. They were notorious for their batteries dying quickly, sometimes in as quickly as a year, due to the clock constantly draining it. They're also not of sufficient graphical/audio quality to release as a full-fledged game even with a better battery, and enhancing those will just give you HeartGold/SoulSilver anyway.
