  • is this on HD ?

  • He's one of the ugliest "basterds" I've ever seen

  • "alllllllllright."

  • the man QT looks to have gained a few

  • The first scene of this movie is 20 minutes long. And it's one of the best movies ever made. Quentin Tarantino's come as close to perfection as any artist can ever hope to.

  • He seem's to be high on Cocaine

  • a lacy susan? haha.

  • I will bet all my fortunes and any part of my body that quentin was "under the influence" before this interview :)

  • Damn Quentin, you gottta stop hitting those lines,

"Cocaine is a hell of a drug" - Rick James

  • tarantino = legend

  • it's lazy susan, not lacy susan...

  • When watching Inglourious Basterds, I have no idea how Quentin Tarantino wrote such a long film with such long scenes without failing once all by himself?! The man's a legend! :D

  • my sisters new boyfriend called tarantino a FREAK! He is never coming into my house again after that. Am I wrong to do that?

  • @JERRYATRIX2 He is a bit odd but a lot of geniuses are. Now if your sister's boy friend said Pulp Fiction sucks, then he should not be allowed in the house.

  • does anyone know what kind of shirt he is wearing?

  • he's a bit of a spaz, but he's enthusiastic and dedicated to his work, which can be hard to find sometimes in the movie industry. go tarantino!

  • "I think this just might be my masterpiece"

  • Inglorious Basterds was awesome, but the trailer was VERY misleading

  • Tarantino kinda looks like the old man from the movie "UP"

  • @quierodoritos He does...? oow yeeaaaah, I get it

  • quentin is a brilliant director but one ugly mofo

  • @sampreap tru dat

  • Hate the guy, love the films

  • That's why it's popular too right? because of the jews...and we didn't land on the moon either did we...and 911 was an inside job lol.

It's a fantastic quotable movie. Too bad you're a nazi fan, guess you couldn't handle the poor nazis getting owned LOLOLOL

  • I loved it and I'm a Nazi too

  • Love it how he talks about Vincent Price :D

  • You can tell Tarantino loves films by how he casually interjects his knowledge of movies into conversation. Such as the Vincent Price reference to the original "House of Wax" movie from the '50's.

  • He is a great man with a giant melon!

  • he talks really loud..but his movies are great nonetheless

  • Quentin is "one of a kind." I love that he is open and not guarded about his actions or comments in interviews like the usual Hollywood royalty. His knowledge of film classics is huge because he is first and foremost a fan. The fact that he pays homage to great films and directors from the past and has the ingenuity to integrate his own cutting edge technique, makes him the superb talent that he is.

  • @5023849465 I could not have said it better!

Tarantino is da bomb yo.... that's my two scents.

  • @5023849465 haha homage??? you mean rip off and lack of originality.. just anther hollywood hack instead calling it a remake he calls it an" homage"

  • this movie came out on my birthday and i can honestly say its the best birthday present i could ever wish for

    qt rocks

    ib rocks

    sigh* awesome awesome movie :D

  • My English teacher said that Quentin will be a footnote in film history, he was wrong. I'm still waiting for Jimmy Kimmel to make me laugh once. Sarah Silverman makes me laugh.

  • Your English teacher is already a footnote in whatever the hell it is he does.

  • Quentin Tarantino, is a genius i love all his movies. one of my favorite directors love his style of directing and his camera angles in his movies. I hope that i can be half as great of a director when i grow up.

  • he`s got one of those faces where he looks like he has no teeth.

  • i love you lolol

  • 1.49 listen to his laugh

  • only person to we-write ww2!!??!?! wtf he's obviously never heard of Harry Turtledove and the original inglorious bastards is from the 70's!!

  • I have one question. Why the hell hasn't the wax museum made a James Cameron? I mean Quentin is a king of directors but James Cameron is legendary!

  • @Kenron1000

James Cameron is, from an artistic perspective, the worst thing to happen to Hollywood since Jaws and Star Wars. From a commercial perspective, he's a fucking wet dream.

  • if he's so horrible artisticly, how did he become so huge? He made the terminators for crying out fucking loud.

True he is a duech as a person, but he's a movie genius. (besides Titanic, that sucked)

  • Oh, God, not the "he's huge, so he can't possibly suck" argument. No, there aren't any talentless fools at the top of the entertainment field. I look forward to seeing Keanu Reeves and Tom Cruise pick up their Oscars one day. Don't even get me started on the Grammys...there's no one in the Top 40 who ISN'T shit.

  • no, you mistake my argument, I honestly couldn't care less if you don't like james Camoren, my point is he is a visionary movie director, as is Quentin, but they have different methods. James Camoren is the best in his field.

  • @Kenron1000 , dude heres the thing...I can see QT doing something kinda like Avatar, with the 3D and all the CGI sh%$ but I could never, EVER picture James Cameron pulling off a script, a cast, let alone A MOVIE like "The Basterds". Of the two, QT is the biiger genius by a country fu%$in mile, man!

  • dude, I'm not going to argue, and honestly, if Qt could do it. Why hasn't he? James and QT have different minds and different views, they are geniuses on what they do personally, and no one can best either of them. I think they are both AMAZING directors and both deserve credit for movies of brilliance. But QT and James Cameron are not the same in any way, two different people, two different methods.

  • what are you talking about, Jaws created the summer blockbuster.

Star wars is massive and millions love it.

although i too don't have much love for Cameron in comparison to Tarantino

  • Hitchcock was a visionary for sure, but I will never have the affinity for his work the same as I do Quentin's, because I'm actually living through his reign as king of directors at an age where I can appreciate the modern genius he is.

  • they said this was a jew movie after the killings.....

  • This guy is my generation's film genius. And he's had a long run too. It's impressive.

  • haha never seen a quirkier guy. but he is a damn good filmmaker!

  • I was stunned by the ending.

  • quentin tarantino is awesomely twisted

  • wtf dude...they didnt say a damn thing about the movie. people should really think these titles out...i mean its really damn hard to describe a video for some

  • Quentin ease up on the coke you sissy mary cunt

  • I never liked him personally, just because I think he's rude, mean and unkind but I loved all of his films, particularly Kill Bills and Inglourious Basterds without knowing he directed the movies, although I'm not a fan of dark comedy. Nevertheless he is a very intelligence person and a great director.

  • @novazee Yes thats the same with me, hes a dickhead but i like almost everyone of his films, hes a great director.

  • Tarantino kicked everyones ass with Inglourious Basterds

  • This guy is a genius.

  • lmao are you kidding?

  • until a few months ago I never even heard of Quantum Terrentino, that maybe because I don't give a damn about the media and all its bullshit, or its because I haven't watched enough good movies with his name on it.

  • Yes, you do not watch enough good movies. Actually, you have been watching way to many shitty movies if you have never heard of Quentin Tarantino. Or you're just young and watch stupid movies.

  • Pearl Harbor sucked. Good visuals though.

  • These are all in my opinion "commercialised hollywood shit" movies

  • right, and inglorious bastards was not? lol

  • are u fucking kidding me?

have you seen pulp fiction? if you really think bad boys is better than pulp fiction then you're on crack

  • @logicCplusplus those were all terrible movies, i hope you were kidding

  • @logicCplusplus Your kidding right? Gone in sixty seconds is beyong Tarantino? You sir, have not so good taste.

  • @logicCplusplus

    ROFLMFAO!!

  • Quentin, you are the fuckin man. Keep makin those sick fuckin films!

  • he is the best director ever

  • The world has been blessed with an intelligent, brilliant director and writer: Quentin Tarantino!

  • Tarantino deserves...like... a monument or something....His movies are just...totaly greatsome

  • i just get pissed at how GOOD his movies are (thats a good thing)

  • This guy deserves an oscar for sure!!!!!

  • like its ridiculous because his movies mostly just contain dialogue between the characters and some few awesome action sequences but the movies are so awesome that its ridiculous...

  • thats kinda what makes his movies genius, he knows EXACTLY the way to make people interact in his movies

  • Basterds was awesome.

  • tarantino looks really fat on this video

  • I don't get why people don't like this guy. His movies are great and he seems like a great guy. My friend and I saw him going from the snack bar into a movie. My friend got all excited and tongue tied. She said, "OMG! It's........" He stopped walking and waited for her brain to catch up. Then she blurted out, "Quentin Tarantino!!" He nodded his head, gave her a big smile and then walked into the theater. I rushed over to check which one. He went to see My Bloody Valentine in 3D. Nice guy.

  • which cinema!? loll.

  • Saw Quentin here

    THE BRIDGE: Cinema de Lux

    6081 Center Drive

The Promenade at Howard Hughes Center

    Los Angeles, CA 90045

I've seen other celebs here as well:

    Pacific's The Grove Stadium 14

189 The Grove Dr., Los Angeles, CA, 90036

I don't live in LA (live in SF Bay Area) but for some reason (luck?) everytime I go visit my friend in downtown L.A., we see a celebrity of some kind

  • ahhh I should have guessed you lived in the US, I'm from the UK loll.

hmm, i'll have to take a holiday there some day :P

    lol thanks for the info!!

  • @skybluemarshall I guess I know which theater I'm going to next

  • If we think about it, there are only so many low priced venues, where we will see big celebritites out with the general public. They usually go to expensive restaurants and stores, exclusive night clubs, gyms, and resorts. They sit in exclusive or high priced seats and boxes at sporting events, concerts and plays. But if they go to a movie that isn't a big premiere, they sit in the same seats that we sit in. They often go to the same coffee shops and grocery stores that we do

  • I don't like QT as a person, he acts like an idiot! But he is a great director I have to admit

  • I know what you mean, he is a brilliant director, and he has a very large IQ, but he is a bit eccentric in person, but you've gotta love him, lol!

  • aaawriiiight?

  • the shirt is inspired by charlie cheen i think!

  • yeah its similar to the ones from tahm

  • Quentin Tarantino , he is very love chinese movie !

  • no he prefers korean movies.

  • i love Quentin Tarantino, i wish he were my friend! :D

  • i've watched all qt films and the are all great...ALL!! and he did deserve the wax figure

  • same here... i didn't have the occasion to see inglorious though... waiting for a good quality torrent

  • Kimmel's laugh at 1:47 is priceless.

  • Christoph Waltz's performance is the greatest performance that QT has directed since that of Samuel L. Jackson in Pulp Fiction.

  • well...QT is, looks, speaks and direct like a genious....and his latest movie is really big fuckin tastick!!! waaaw...but he also drank 6 boottles with brad=) i would like to be QT!!well i love this movie...and the actress wasnt sooo great...pick me nextt time Q!=) stay best!!!

  • ..What a BS,er that Jimmie is, that movie sucked Pulp., kill B, House, all good... This is a Dog

  • Quentin is brilliant. Rachel Nichols can go eat a cock.

  • eat mine.

    XDXDXD OOOOOOOOOHHHHHHH SNNNNNNAAPPP!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Fascle Mucial. HEHEHE

  • they lied to him! lol! hitchcock is in madame tussauds London museum, rolf!

  • Are you serious? Because I went to google and yeah, there's a Hitchcock wax figure. Why would they lie to him then?

  • yeah your right i went to that museum and hitchcock was there & Spielberg too

  • Yes, hitchcock is in the London museum, but he is they said that he is the only director in the LOS ANGELES museum. big difference there people

  • Tarantino is a little sauced here...

  • WWI was easily a bigger disaster by far. There was less incompetence in WWII, therefore, less of a disaster. Mostly because by that time they had realized that sending unarmored men with swords after a trio of machine gun nests was a bad idea.

  • This comparison doesn't make any sense, but neverthes less some facts, briefly and by the way: WW I was a war on the European continent, while WW II really was a worldwide war. 8.5 millions lost their life in WW I, 55 millions in WW II. The number of killed civilians was umpteen times higher in WW II than in WW I. And systematic killings of innocents among them millions of Jews were the barbaric speciality of WW II. Etc. Etc.

  • If its a series of systematic killings, it is a tragedy, not a disaster. A disaster is something that is not planned. The bombing raids that killed so many were coordinated and calculated. And WWI was not restricted exclusively to Europe; Africa, the Middle East, and even China saw conflict on their soil, and it dragged in fighters from the Americas as well. Also, the death toll was 16 million, not 8.5. In any case, I'm just being a stickler after you said "disaster."

  • You have realized that English is not my mother-tongue: I fully agree with the term 'tragedy'.

You're right with the figures, Wikipedia's estimations: 15 to 25 millions of casualties in WWI, 40 to 72 millions in WWII.

You're not a stickler at all, I'm always interested in other views and opinions. But my concern was something else: In the Swiss WELTWOCHE, a movie critic wrote: "«Inglourious Basterds» is a (...) Nazi-Horror-Picture-Show. The Nazi has definitely arrived in the pop culture..."

  • god forbid someone tries to bring levity to a darkside of history

  • Then why did you mention Brad Pitt?

  • Inglorious Basterds !

    \M/

  • where's the part when he talks about IB

  • but yeah, he is really crazy too, lol

  • i broke in tears in the last scene from kill bill vol 1, and i have never cryed with a movie from Spielberg's, and i'm waiting from tarantino a big movie wich makes cry everyone, i'm totally sure someday he'll do it, because he's unic, he's the god of Cine.

  • and also a Tarantino film has yet to move me to tears like one of Spielberg's best films like E.T. or Last Crusade, and even those aren't perfect.

  • who cares if you fucking cried or not in a movie?

  • I wonder if duentin was born a genuis or became one, EVERYTHING in his movies is perfect, sound dialoge picture sychronization everything

  • I agree that all of his movies are masterpieces, but I think its too strong to say they are perfect. I've watched a few masterpieces but I've never seen a perfect movie. There are flaws in any film. For example besides Christoph Walz who was terrific Brad Pitt's performance in Inglourious which wasn't that up there with Walz's. Also although I love his films and am a big fan, his movies would be better if they had some moral compass.

  • yeah, one thing i didnt like about inglouious basterds was the dialoge, now i know hes known for dialoge and he tends to stretch dialoge but because he normally stretches it he does it in a way that makes it better. but in inglourious basterds he definately streched it more then the kill bill films more then pulp fiction and more then resevior dogs. Every metaphor that came up in a convo in I.B had to be talked about for an extra 2minutes.

  • spectacular movie, but expected it too be. I'm telling you, that German Officer characterization in the film just made the film the greatest.

  • Tarantino is th most ingenious person of my lifetime.

  • totally the truth but he's the most crazyest person 2 in the funny way xD

  • Quentin Tarantino looks like Jaws for James Bond

  • amazing movie

  • saw the movie last night...kinda late but it was really quite amazing and hilarious

  • I loved this movie! One of the summers best, if you guys want to see clips from the movie in High Definition them out here. Check it out mates

  • alriight? okaay?

  • just saw this tonight and I loved it!!!!!!!!!!

    My current favorite movie

  • I`m from Poland and if its not disrispectrful for me I think its ok.

  • That looks like a short-sleeve version of Larry David's shirt

  • tarantino looks like the joker from the comics

  • great movie man!

  • Tarantino is the awesomest person ever in the history of anything.

  • totally and he's crazy as hell!!

  • tarantino is kind of a weird fella. haha it's great.

  • "Hitchcock is the fall-back!!" awesome!!

  • watch the previews to the first full length x box live movie ever! "THE TROUBLE MAN" now showing

  • i love ow tarantino is so open and honest about how he feels. I mean who wouldn't get a kick out of hitchcock being the fall back.

  • hes my hero.

    hes just a kickass guy.

  • this guy makes me laugh just when I look at him

  • love his charlie harper style

  • dumb-ass spoiler dickhead...

  • fucking idiot gave the ending away.

  • He's awesome. Still love his performance in From dusk till dawn XD LOL

  • love this guy

  • Great director, but he's a smart ass

  • i get this big impression that tarantino's a raging coke head but never the less hes pure genius!! def makes the most entertaining films and def makes fat rails and blows em down

  • yeah he seems like a coke addict..watch the interview with Craig Furg...a couple of nights ago....

  • IB was utterly brilliant...tarantino never lets me down :)))

  • hes put on some weight :P

  • was he going in for a kiss or a hug at the start there??

  • A Genius.

  • i bet germany's like "sigh...we fucking get it dude, you yankees are still so butthurt over ww2, but you're not even jews!"

  • well, i think is the fact that hitler is the archetype of evil guy who wants to take over the world that fuels all the ww2 stuff. I mean, he's the real bad guy! I anyway love inglourious basterds

  • I guess Hitler was less that kind of brilliant evil genius than an evil, albeit very confused man and I think Inglourious Basterds captures this trade of his quite well.

  • he was a madman, Hinderburg (germany's president at the time) and lots of germans knew that, but it was because he brainwashed the folks that he got power. Maybe if the french hadn't been so overdemanding on their spoils of war after ww1 hitler had never risen to power
