this is not just a moovie about some black guys bobsledding. It is a moovie about people changing:

Yol Brenner becomming a little softer

Junior Bevil a little harder

The german bobsledder turning into respecting the jamaicans.

The jamacian Olympic chairman respecting the sledders.

Senior bevil clapping at his son.

ETC- etc.

Actually my favorite moment is where yolbrenner wants to kiss the egg - the same egg he earlier laughed at.

I love this moovie. One of my top 3 of all times.

@beautybyjojo I respectfully disagree, they did win. They won the respect of their fellow bobsledders and the hearts of the world, and that's a lot more valuable than any medal. They represented their home by having the courage to get up and finish their run, which is to say profoundly badass.

I just cry everytime i watch this because it means so much to be inspired by the Jamaicans i Just know the True olympic Spirit comes from this movie and its just a great movie and for all the dreamers out there who have dreams this is an olympic story movie that isn't forgotten by it's fans and by the people of Jamaica i just love the line you did good jamaica we'll see ya in four years its good sportsmanship from other countrys who didn't believe jamaica can do it..

i used to get teary-eyed as a kid, but now it seems too Disney-over-the-top to me.... in reality when the bobsled crashed at the '88 olympics, the team shook it off and walked away. the olympic crew pushed it down to the finish line.
