I don't understand why the Lieberal supporters don't like a party who isn't soft on crime and wants tax payers to keep more money in their pockets. It was under Trudeau that the justice system shifted from victims rights to offenders rights and by picking up any paper today you can see the fruits of that mistake.
- I never said looking for handouts, but I won't voluntary vote for a party that wants to privatize any of the services I have now.
I wont bother with the rest, as we have fundamental differences of opinion, and I'm not trying to convince you. I was giving you a small sample of reasons why Liberal supporters like myself, don't want to vote Conservative.
Right or wrong, the Liberal party will never rebuild themselves by propping up the Cons like they have been the past 3 years.
I'm glad this ended on a high note. I was wondering how to exit gracefully and not start bashing each other over our differences in view points and ideology, even though I think you are wrong. Take care and we'll see each other at the polls. ;-)
Comparing me with terrorists (or even Jack Layton) because I don't want a dictator with a fascist right wing ideology, is typical of what I expect from the Cons. Good luck getting a majority with that attitude.

It's all the other baggage that comes with the right wing agenda, that makes me and other Liberals unsupportive of the cons, like:
-dismantling of social & culture programs
-bad management of finances (largest deficit in history)
-wanting to abolish the gun registry
-lying about the cost of EI reform
-not helping Canadians abroad, and fighting the courts tooth and nail to keep that policy
-copyright reform that only serves the industry
-etc., etc., etc. (no room to write more)

-What has been dismantled?
-Iggy supported the budget.
-The registry has cost BILLIONS with no positive results.
-What is the lie about EI? It's being reformed.
-Not helping CRIMINALS abroad would be more accurate.
-Copyright reform that targets criminals. You love criminals? How typically Liberal.

-not much now thanks to a minority situation, but it's well established that cons are in favor of privatization.
-Only to avoid an election. Its the Cons that cut GST, predicted no deficits, keep changing estimates
-Sorry, but being able to track firearms is a plus for law enforcement
-the budget office agrees with Grits
-everyone deserves their day in court. To hold someone indefinitely is criminal. To not stand up for this right is criminal.
-Con copyright reform reduces consumer rights.

-And what's wrong with privatization?
-What's wrong with cutting taxes, Do you like paying tax? The deficit is due to the GLOBAL recession. Have you been asleep for a long time?
-The majority of gun crime occurs with illegally smuggled weapons from the States.
-Don't go out of country and commit crimes and expect to be tried in the Canadian justice system. Their home, their rules.
-What rights are reduced?

- I'm poor as crap. The more government services the better.
- Don't you think if the GST wasn't cut that our deficit would be lower now?
- Show me one law enforcement agency in Canada that is in favour of scrapping gun registration.
- So far the courts disagree, along with the majority of the House and me.
- For one, it would be technically illegal to make a backup of anything with a digital lock. For more examples: /view_play_list?p=8C9879137D81BADC

-Get some education and a better job. Learn to stand up on your own two feet. Nobody owes you anything.
-The deficit is due to the global recession.
-It doesn't change the facts.
-Most judges are left leaning Liberals. Appointed by Liberals.
-Who really cares. Aren't the police going to be busy looking up people in the gun registry?

I'm with you man. The Registry is a waste of money. Get rid of the Registry, get rid of the monarchy and get rid all the fancy art subsidies.
People know how to best use their money!

No, the party that deserves to be official opposition is the party that has the second greatest number of seats in house. Simple as that.
Greens may have great ideas, but a vote is wasted on them if you want to stop a Conservative majority.
The NDP love socialism, but hate capitalism.
The Cons love capitalism, but hate socialism.
Only the Liberals believe in a proper complimentary balance between capitalism and socialism.

I want a Conservative majority.

I'm thankful that a majority of Canadians don't.
