  • gotta make sure you have a toe hanging balanced putter for this arc putting concept to work properly. If you have a face balanced putter, that putter does want to make a straight back and straight through stroke. I have this practice aid and it is very helpful to groove a stroke. Be sure on your putter though. Just balance it on your finger to see which kind of putter you have. Toe hang or face up.

  • Like it!

  • tony are you a fuckin moron? when the putter moves down the arc the putter obviously opens up and the releases ya stupid shit

  • Tried this and Butch's Inside Down the Line and prefer the IDL because of the natural release I feel. Check out Jim Flick's article in Golf Digest about how Tiger putts (Sept 09 I think). Tiger... Butch's former student... claims IDL too. He became a great putter in early 2000's while working with Butch.

  • OK so with this thing the putter moves inside to square to inside on an arc, but what about the face of the putter is it square to target at all times or does it open and shut???????

  • open and shut, square to the target only when it hits the ball.

  • Yesh I have been getting so much conglicting advice lately---

some say straight back and through, some say in to out, some say keep the face square at all times, some say inside to down the line
