Never had trouble landing when I played this when I was 6. The instructions can be hyperactive sometimes forcing you to screw things so you have to make smooth adjustments and not hard moves.

I couldn't land for years until I got a hint book which said that all that was needed in order to land was to keep the plane between 280-320 mph while keeping the plane in a sane direction.

I felt like God himself when I landed for the first time :)

I remember this game. I only landed safely twice and it's really hard to be at 200/288. Also, Mission 1 was a joke to beat. I could never get past Mission 2 because I could never get properly hooked up to the fuel plane, and I'd drown. This game would probably be 28471 times easier on an emulator provided you could make the controls "right".

Funny that a lot of people are bashing this game for the landing sequences which are pretty easy to do. They didn't think about that the controls behave just like you would control a real plane, thus they are pressing the wrong buttons (up & down). :)

From the look of it is is very easy look at your interface it seas(i dont know how to spell it =P)

Alt 200 so go to alt 200! and speed 288 so change your speed to it! and keep the ship into the middle of the screen i hope that may help you =) if you want to know how low you are and how fast look left bottom of the screen

It's the computer playing the landing (you can tell by the music that played in the demo mode), besides that landing was hard but not impossible even with normal pad, you just had to keep pressed DOWN key when view switched in third person until the plane landed

I just did it as well and its kind of easy. Were angry nintendo nerd was blocked was when it said up. But after all, you can't take altitude without taking speed. Just try and it will work.
