I really wish that a famous animator took over these shakespearian plays. That way it would be both beuatiful to watch and listen to. Somebody like Ralph Bakshi, Richard Williams, or Don Bluth. Even Miyazaki might work if he did the more colorful plays like Midsummer's Night's dream. It would be like Disney's fantasia, profound animation and beautiful music (or in this case story and dialogue)

I remember this scaring the bejeezus out of me when I was a kid. The animations are excellent and have so much more character then any of the mainstream malarkey you see these days. Why would you swap hand-drawn (or hand-modelled) ART for something someone's programmed or motion-captured into computer software?
