I find all of the Final Fantasy games are very good on their own, except for XI and XII, didn't get me hooked up as the others did. Tbh FFX is one of my favourites, as well as IX, and this game is roxxorz! :o
i give that game 9 of 10 stars. The story is a bit.. stupid but, ok -.- and very long.. it takes between 60 and 100 hours to finish.. because it's a very big story line !

I got the japanese version when i was there last week :)
And it's my most favorite game for the moment.. even when i'm done, i play those fights.. there is every hero from FF1 until 11 and every matching villainforom 1 to 11
those from FF11 are additional special characters that you can get in an extra storymode after you have finishd the story :)

Before you dissapointed, I'll tell you that Squall's attack ability's so suck, he can't use long ranged attack, and his attack requires some of time that'll let your opponent easily attack you. But for Kefka....That's a different story :)
all FF a good they all hav their unique strength
im no FFX fan but i gotta admit the story was beyond good it was outstanding.
also zidane and tidus aint weak they both pretty fast agility faster then cloud and squall.
zidane wasnt that good in FF9 that is y Enix remake him using trance hp attacks
Tidus got great counters faster than normal also has brave connect with hp dam
im not saying squall and cloud is shit they a strong fighters
its jst all FF characters hav their own advantages.
