hey jack! i was just looking on ebay fiddling around and i saw 4 of them merc cyclones on there so they did make them for the american market low numbers i guess but i still think they gorgeous cars

@cubcadet1983 Hey, Tony! It depends on the model of 70 Mercury Cyclone. There were 1695 plain Cyclones made, 10,170 Cyclone GTs made, and finally, this model, the Cyclone Spoiler...only 1631 were made. The Spoiler had the 429 c.i. engine...special handling package, stripes, hood scoop..lots of extras. It's headlights were exposed as opposed to the GT's hidden headlamps....and the GT had the 351 c.i. engine. Thanks! :) Jack

Vent windows, horn ring, bench seat - all the things that I miss and it's even a convertible. The standard engine in convertibles was a 318 V8, but it had a single exhaust, but of course the owner could have changed that to duals. The next engine up was a 383 with 2bbl and single exhaust. Now I don't really know but I would like to think it has a 383 with 4bbl and dual exhausts. Since the hood is closed I think I am allowed to put what ever engine I like in it. :P

@MrBadassandy Hey, Andy! There used to be a car in the area that came to car shows, looked just like Christine in the movie..they even had a copy of the poster for the movie! One of the best scenes was the car on the production line locking the assembler in it...you knew this movie would be filled with horrors! :D Thanks!
