@RyanCooleyFanx She's awesome. And the way I look at it... is if a little tiny work makes her feel BETTER about herself and more confident then who cares? That's my opinion and you're awesome for defending her lol.
@RyanCooleyFanx yes i think she looks fake now compared to this when she was actually cute. I think you should really refrain from your rude replies to someone elses opinion
@RyanCooleyFanx the comments value is lost on how it is wrapped. You are not alone but this low gear anonymous scolding distracts from perhaps a good opinion and related to internet bullying syndrome. Relevant to the comments core, I suspect many would agree with you in preaching it but not in practice. We have ears for a reason, we have eyes for a reason and believe it or not they sometimes work together.
I really would like to see her revive some of these older songs.....sort of revisit them and update them and give them a modern twist on them.....I could see it...the album could be called Revisited
Well I guess it is time to get this song placed right. This song is the one that placed Reba in the top ten. It moved her up the girl singer ladder and she ended up up to heaven. I should know, I was there with her. James Guest lead guitar and front man for Reba.
@cuongoff Because Beyonce's NOT a singer. Nor much of anything else, mind you. She's just a parasite. Meanwhile, Reba quietly releases a record, with less fanfare than when someone like Beyonce takes a shit, and yet has more passion, emotion and SOUL than that other bitch. Yet Reba covered "If I Were A Boy". Words fail me...
I, like many others I'm sure, fell in love with Reba after hearing this song. I was blown away by her voice and have loved her ever since. Thanks for posting it.
@musicwest62 Thanks me too - I stopped posting new things for now due to no rhyme or reason to this type of slow progress. It seems it is a snowball type thing for another that I posted by Streisand was slow getting noticed near the same time I posted this but it just passed one million hits - Again...much appreciated
Sweet Jesus, she looks young! And yet you could tell even then she was bound for superstardom. I've seen very, very few singers before or since with the sort of stage presence and charisma she's got. She's simply blinding.
I can clearly recall hearing this song on the radio for the first time in January of 1981. I literally stopped what I was doing and listened. That was the only time that has ever happened. I got to see her in concert in 1983 when she was the opening act for the Statler Brothers. An amazing voice!

I often wonder how she hit the high notes between verses, I never knew she had her sister Susie doing, talk about perfection

This is the Reba style i like the best, all the way up to the early 90s then she lost it in my opinion

This song brings back so many good memories. I think I was only 18 or 19 years old. I saw her perform this song during a rodeo dance in NM.
