  • What song is this?

  • Thats what happens when a culture / society isn't governed by biblical standards. Jesus Christ is going to set everything in order when He comes back to earth.

  • yes..he was burning

  • At about 2:04, is that little boy burning? Or am I crazy...?

This video is so sad. It's just terrible. But thanks so much for posting it. It made me realize what I have and what I've been taking for granted.

  • thats actually a highly respectable vietnamese buddhist monk who torched himself to death, they said the remained still while it happened, he was protesting and wanted to make a point about the communism vietnamese people who use this as a torture method. it is very sad.

  • i think it is a man sitting

  • i find it funny how war surprises people, its in our nature to fight , iam not saying its ok or right or that children deserve this iam just saying that since man could walk hes fought wars and people act all surpeised likes its the first time. people say its so terrible but do they realy care about others ? only when it dosent get in the way of the life they lead otherwise they really dont care and just act like they do

  • That's actually very true. We can comment as much as we like because it's not like it's happening in our backyard, and our own loved ones aren't getting hurt. But I think it's that mentality of "Oh, it's sad, but not happening to me" is the reason why war is still an option. However, I don't think it's in our nature to fight. It's control, I think. They're two completely different things.

  • People do get surprised because it's a very horrible thing and it's really sad when you think about how all of these people who had lives, love, goals, friends and family dying just because some people want control. Lots of people care even if it doesn't get in the way of the their lives.

  • i think its mans fallen nature which makes him violent, it's not the original being or state of man. it will change though. everything will soon be fine

  • Wow. I really have to thank you for your comment. I'm in the process of writing a short story as my Major Work Assessment for my English class, you see, and so far I know I've wanted to expose the human's flawed condition through my plot and for some reason I never thought of violence. I made this video so long ago it slipped my mind. Thanks again.

  • u.s gov starting war all over the world again and again.

  • I'm sorry, but it is. When I was researching for the images I came across this horrible site with images from other wars. Most of them are truly scarring.

  • my dad was just a kid when this happened. he was born in 1969. came to the phillipenese when he was 19 lived there for 5 years and then he came to canada. my mom met my dad in the philipenese and then my mom got preg. he missed the birth of my sis. when she was 1 years old, she and my mom finally came to live with my dad. the-end

  • 1:45 please tell me thats not a person or child tied up to that tank. i swear to god please tell me its not.

  • great flea!

i really wanted to watch your classes. all of them.

  • thats sooo touching..

    the lyrics are soo powerful

    xx

  • Wow! Amazing and sooo sad

  • People wage wars in the name of a lot of things. In the old days, it was in the name of god. Nowadays, in the name of ideologies. But always, the ones who suffer the most are children. It's really amazing that people today or rather leaders today don't seem to learn this single lesson from the many wars in our history.

  • My father is a vietnam vet. Watching this vid really brought home the atrocities that my father was involved in and witnessed and experienced. To know that he served in the front line and know what he must have done to survive is hard to imagine when I only know him as my father. I know that he still is reminded of vietnam when he hears a chopper. He also still wakes in the night....War is just so heartbreakingly senseless.

  • sad :'(. I try not to cry much when I watch sad media anywhere. I am a Vietnamese myself, fortunately, I was born in America. And I'm only 14. But my parents were in Vietnam during the war. Looking at this video made me think of what it would be like to live in terrible conditions. I wanted to hug the children who were grieving for their lost parents of crying because the war was so harsh. I wonder where they are all right now.

  • ty for posting this version of this song... i was going to go through withdrawal until tuesday...=) Great video as well.
