XephyrX, there is a version of GIMP called Gimpshop. Have a search, its made to look and feel like Photoshop, and it keeps all teh windows together. I dunno why GIMP does that. seems silly to me. Right clicking your image will also reveal all the options in GIMP. The right click context was the original way GIMPs interface worked.
