We have both the old and new waves. To be honest, I prefer the old model, because of the much superior scissors.

very good comparison of the old and new wave models, including the sheaths... I especially appreciated the end when you brought out the Juice S2, the Surge, and the Charge for comparison with the Wave(s).

i have the old leatherman wave or the origonal wave and the new one in black oxide. the old one has a great leather sheath which you can see. but i dont like the blades. the new one with the black oxide is far superior to the origonal and i dont leave home without it. it is in the coin pocket of my jeans as we speek
