I live close to hollywood and before this shoot out police only Carry 9mm handguns now because of this they carry .40 which has much more stopping power soo i guess this had to happen.

If you want to know exactly how many were used in crimes, do some research. That was not the point of the comment, it is just a number that I found shocking for 1988
