i make them but i cut the paper at 2inches then fold the sides in that they can slide together tape the middle and then make tape them all together =]

this video is awesome.. thank you so much! when you said it's the "best glue in the galaxy!!!" i burst into laughter. can't wait to make one! i've read a couple articles about these.. for people who want to use water in their vases, i suggest using either a varnish or a elmer's glue/water mixture (like paper mache' paste) on the inside as you go, to make them shiny AND safe for water? i'd hope? thanks again :)

love it! my tip would be to use rubber bands to hold the pieces while they dry. not sure you need it held for that long though... looks like the glue is drying pretty fast. ;) Great job! Keep making and posting your creations. I definitely want to try this. ;)

I REALLY love this. I gotta try this out sometime. It's sooo simple yet the end result looks so complex. @MsPurplegurl no! dont give up! if you can make it go out you can make it go in silly! instead of adding the paper to the outside, glue the inside and it attach it there. do as many rows as you want then shift up again, and and to the inside again. GO GO GO!

@jordanchaney1 i'm not sure i understand exactly but i think you're talking about when you choose to go inwards? you would glue onto the inside of the circle as apposed to the outside. and yea it would wrap back on itself the smaller you get. if that didn't answer your question please let me know. i wanna help!

@bembleto i talked about that but deleted it cause i blabbed for too long =/ but you add a strip to the outside just like a showed, but then add one to the inside halfway up. then you add one to the outside halfway up then another attached to it from the inside. so they aren't glued directly on top of each other but more of a staggered kinda deal if that makes sense
