@bobbyzox it's arguable, and some claim interchangeable, but a lot of the old jungle/dnb guys view jungle as the genera using the 6 second amen break. Dnb is more generic, not necessarily using the amen break. I see "jungle" as 1994-98 or so, and then drum and bass came into play with neurofunk and the like.

@bobbyzox to me, there are very different sounds. Jungle is about the 'happy snare' and some bass .. more like something you could get out of a drumkit. DnB is more about the BASS .. big rolling baselines, with less focus on the intricate snare work. $0.02

"31 Seconds" was among the first tracks I attacked with my SP-808 sampler. It was a gift from my Mom on my 21st birthday, and the first thing I did with it was pound around with all the classics! = P

I'm searching for my old mix of "31 Secconds" right now, jimjam. It's on one of my hundreds of mini-discs of mixes. I remember it's about 11 minutes long, so I'll have to cut it down, but I think you'll like it. I'll send it as a video response when I find it! = )

This is nearly clockwork beat mixing! There are some SMALL trainwrecks, but they're quick, and painless. Most of them may only be noticable to other djs, but after each, I hear a tight, and solid recovery. = ) F#@k, yeah. Never give up! Mix that $#!t. = P

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the samples from "31 Seconds" by Origin Unknown! That was one my favorite cuts on Speed Limit 4. = )

These old school beats are like time traveling, jimjam. I still have about 15 cassettes...yeah, tapes, of the underground rave show from C89 when I was in middle school, in 93-94.

This sounds like the old Moonshine 140 b.p.m.+ compilations, which I also still have. = ) My favorites are still the Metalheadz, Bukem & Peshay...you know.
