I got this guy off the market and he is a good figure. Funny thing was that the instruction sheet, and every other piece of paper e.g toy sheet, were in Japanese. lol

love the alien vs scorponok line.

the scorpion mode is awesome.

He can be made to stand on his arms so that they stand as legs with working knees.

His robot legs become jointed arms with the scorpion legs serving as claws. The tail and stinger become neck and head and is awesome.

IMO, Hasbro should have ditched his transforming feature and spend more time on paint, sculpting, etc...

I'm still unimpressed with this Scorponok (no fault of your own). The reason he has no real transformation is because he's supposed to share his alt-mode with Blackout. Scorponok is part of the helicopter.

wish he had more detail then the robot mode could be forgivable

It's true his "beast'mode looks great.

Robot mode he's ugly and the transformation makes the whole figure look cheap. (but prizewise it isn't cheap compared to other deluxe figures)
