@NehpetK57 How do you not hear the BOV? Listen at 0:12, 0:15, 0:40-:45. You can hear the BOV through the whole thing.

Besides, a BOV may not necessarily be needed. It all depends on the build.

This particular turbo M5 has been running for 5+ years and puts down 1000hp+.. So yea, that's pretty good.

Blow Off Valve.

The reason it makes the "blow off" sound several times, is becouse the air in from the turbo goes forth and back when it reaches a low enough pressure. Then when the dumpvalve closes, the air flowing trough it pressureises a bit more, and it opens again... this happens until the pressure made after closing the dump valve is to low to open it, or you press the throttle again.

@emmaorion That sound is made when there is no blow off valve, it is called turbo flutter.. when the trottle closes, there is no dumpvalve to release the pressue, so it pushes back into the turbo, it reduces turbo lag.. and also reduces the life of the turbo at the same time.... Jeremy Clarkson from Top Gear said it sounds like squirrels being sucked into the engine. lol

he never revved it up and let go of the clutch right? if you go into first gear revv the gas wit the clutch down, then let up, you spin the wheels, after that its just tapping the gas to keep the wheelspin. hes doing the same theory except that hes already moving. he just changes the gears and taps and floors the gas to get the wheelspin. hes able 2 do this because of the pwr

That`s just a pure horse power tire spin. If you have enough horse power and torque, all you need to do is press the gas.

He's just pressing the gas pedal further! When you have that much hp, you can't used full throttle all the time or mash the gas whenever you want. That's why people say high hp cars are dangerous for those that don't know how to drive them.

He keeps his gas pedal to the floor, disengages the clutch then engages again, most cars can do that you don't need 1k hp.
