Hey guys, I have the money for an ego 10. I know i can get an nt10 or any gun around that price range... Should i go with the ego or is there a better choice?

If you knew a "shit ton" about the game you would know this.

The etek is a top of the line marker, the pmr is more than twice the price of the etek and I can guarantee that the etek is more reliable and have less ball breaks, bottom line buy an etek with the upgrades that are available for it, you will have a much better gun and you will save a couple hundred bucks

@REKLAW30113 It's all preference bud. I'm a DM fan, when a Dm is tuned by someone who knows what they're doing like me, with the dwell, lpr, and hpr sweetspotted, they are amazing. Not like they shoot better ropes than an ego, but they're much smoother, quieter, and just preference. The etek's I love, but if the PMR had an lpr for finer, smoother tuning, It'd be amazing. Etek AM's are not bad, but still, they just don't have anything special about them.

@REKLAW30113 Ego's aren't smooth!!! They are kicky and loud no matter how they are tuned, and I know how to tune egos. Dwell 13.5, lpr flush, hpr 3.5 turns out. I had a zick and it did no improvement. Eclipse is skeet and just removed one piece on the stock ram and say it reduces kick. And any barrel is good, It's not the brand or anything but the bore. Honestly, Ive shot tons of barrels, I have a dye UL 689 and it shoots no better than a 9" barrel I have. All about their bore
Hey guys... Just to let all you know, Pmr was on semi capped at 12, not psp. The Etek was on semi "uncapped" no bounce, my friend Chad can shoot like a hoss.
the etek seemed to be double firing some.. and you cant have 2 different people on semi for a vs thread.. for a valid vs thread EVERYTHING has to be the same except the items being vs'd

Not to mention the unacceptable breakdown's it has. Etek3's suck dude, pmr's are great for their price. etek 1's and 2's are great, but both etek3's are a failure.

i noticed that the PMR is a little quieter. however the etek looked like it was shooting a little faster. the thing is though they are two different guns with two different bolt set ups. my favorite is etek vs fx, cuz they both have poppet (FX wins btw)

@quazeyman if a PMR is basicly a SLG from what ppl say, how does the Reflex compare to Rail ? Im trying to see just how good the reflex is. I thought about just getting an Etek 3 but it just seems to comples tome as im not familiar with lpr's and stuff. So I guess the less parts on the gun the less potentical problems for me to worry about lol.
@cassman1979 PMR's are completely different from the SLG, the SLG was a completely new platform that didn't work well enough to continue production, which is why they moved on to the Rail and Reflex rail. The Rails are pretty much the same with minor differences in the grips and air hose etc
@Gravity324 well are you talking about the reflex rail or the straight up 2011 pmr. if your talking about just the reg 2011 pmr, get the g4 over it by far, its a much better gun, lighter and more reliable. the 2011 pmr is just basically replacing what the slg was.
i like both guns. I own a PMR 2010 and its great. The only problem is the air effiency is not as good as the etek´s. But the PMR has less kick and it looks great.
I recommend buying the PMR for Beginners who dont waste a lot of ball like me.
how new is that etek 3 looks like its shooting like its a brand new gun, seems the air pressure isnt very consistant lots of flight deviation from the looks of it to me
@kstark93 get the etek 3. eteks are easier maitmence and have a realitivley better track record compared too the pmr. Overall elcipse is a better company, however both have amazing customer support. The etek also has a nicer trigger, i say that because MOST people agree with that, but it is based on opinion. im pretty sure effiency goes to the etek also. as for the barrel, i really don't know much about the proto 2 piece, i would imagine its similar to the ultrialte, but the shaft 3 is amazing.

@xXxtAkTikScOpesxXx My mini has a couple cases thru, and the bolt is still fine and no problems at all. Hell, i have a dm4 in perfect working order, it all depends on the owner and how much you baby it.

@quazeyman if a PMR is basicly a SLG from what ppl say, how does the Reflex compare to Rail ? Im trying to see just how good the reflex is. I thought about just getting an Etek 3 but it just seems to comples tome as im not familiar with lpr's and stuff. So I guess the less parts on the gun the less potentical problems for me to worry about lol.

@cassman1979 PMR's are completely different from the SLG, the SLG was a completely new platform that didn't work well enough to continue production, which is why they moved on to the Rail and Reflex rail. The Rails are pretty much the same with minor differences in the grips and air hose etc

@Gravity324 well are you talking about the reflex rail or the straight up 2011 pmr. if your talking about just the reg 2011 pmr, get the g4 over it by far, its a much better gun, lighter and more reliable. the 2011 pmr is just basically replacing what the slg was.

i like both guns. I own a PMR 2010 and its great. The only problem is the air effiency is not as good as the etek´s. But the PMR has less kick and it looks great.
I recommend buying the PMR for Beginners who dont waste a lot of ball like me.

@kstark93 get the etek 3. eteks are easier maitmence and have a realitivley better track record compared too the pmr. Overall elcipse is a better company, however both have amazing customer support. The etek also has a nicer trigger, i say that because MOST people agree with that, but it is based on opinion. im pretty sure effiency goes to the etek also. as for the barrel, i really don't know much about the proto 2 piece, i would imagine its similar to the ultrialte, but the shaft 3 is amazing.

@xXxtAkTikScOpesxXx My mini has a couple cases thru, and the bolt is still fine and no problems at all. Hell, i have a dm4 in perfect working order, it all depends on the owner and how much you baby it.

ok. the pmr is simply the winner. the pmr gets a great board, and the etek u pay600$ to get a gun tht caps at 15.4 bps. and when u pay 175 for an emortal board, the etek3 still isnt as fast as the pmr!! the pmr is much more reliable, air effecient, lighter, and quieter. hmmm... look up the facts and tell me im rong.

@XxXpAiNtBaLlKiD44XxX well the pmr isn't as air effecient as the etek because its a spool valve and there are tests out to prove it. both guns are good its just a personal preference on what you buy. some people like proto, spools, etc. some people buy the etek 3 because of the brand name

@XxXpAiNtBaLlKiD44XxX in what tournament can you shoot over 15bps? and most fields dont allow over 15 bps. the pmr is a bitch to lube and maintain and many proto owners are always off the field working on either their pmr or their slg. ive owned and slg and my expeirence with it was terrible. proto sucks planet eclipse is one of the best companys in paintball and their guns are built like tanks

People keep saying look how inaccurate the etek is but remember, the guy shooting the pmr started with the thing he was shooting much closer and at the end of him shooting they were curving off alot. the guy shooting the etek started shooting from the range the guy with the pmr stopped so they both started curving off around the same time.
