"I got 30 days notice of the (draft board) physical. I ceased cleansing my body. Two weeks before, I stopped eating food with nutritional value. A week before, I stopped using the bathroom. I did it in my pants. My pants got crusted up." -Ted Nugent, bragging how he avoided serving his country in Vietnam, in a 1977 interview with High Times magazine.
Ted's a coward and draft dodger. Is this really the new standard of a "Real American" these days?
Since when are washed-up, Redneck, belligerent one or two hit wonders from the 70's credible political speakers? Ted Nugent is nothing more than an ignorant has-been. I doubt this guy has a high school diploma. He certainly doesn't act like it. He's probably done more drugs than all of us combined. I like how one of the first things he says is "You don't need to read the Constitution..." Actually Ted, yes you do. And I'm doubting you ever have.
try reading the entire second amendment sometime Mr. Nugent:
A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.
Our right to bear arms is for the purposes of keeping a well regulated militia for the protection of a free state. Not for our own personal preference. I know it's hard to understand these things in historical context, but please, at least TRY reading your history first.
@scbluesman13 Well, I guess the Supreme Court disagrees with you according to their recent ruling. I just feel sorry for all the innocent people in Chicago, DC and all the other "we hate gun cities" who lost their lives because they could not protect themselves from the criminals who will always be armed, regardless of the law.
arming everyone won't stop them from getting killed by other armed people. It will just escalate to even more violence. History has also taught us that.
@scbluesman13 Thank you for your reply sc. You are correct sir, however, your statement only applies to some who have no training on the proper use of a firearm. A properly trained individual will be able to defend theirselves against any criminal, who has no weapons training. In my state, we have open carry and the crime rate has actually dropped as most criminals will tend to pray on unarmed individuals, the sick and the elderly. Thank you again sir for your reply and God Bless.
Hey, did you ever hear how Ted Nugent avoided going to Vietnam? By his own admission, he shit in his pants for a week before going to the draft board. Because, after all, why should Ted go fight a war he supported when he was living the high life of a rock star? HAHAHAHAHA!
Ted must be soooo proud of himself! And who wouldn't be? I mean, sure he COULD have enlisted, but who would want to do something like that? You go Ted! You're a shining example to our youth!
I was there...it was great til is started raining..very informational(srry cant spell) I didnt kno hafe the stuff they showed on the telaproter things lol...COAL KEEPS THE LIGHTS ON!.
Yes, coal does keep the lights on and we need to stay away from cap and trade, but you sound like you don't know much about the issues he spoke of. I would suggest before you take what was said to heart you do some research of your own, I wouldn't take anyone's word for true if they're on stage or on TV, unless I already know about the topic.... and the rain did suck, i fell asleep in it. (btw, youtube has an integrated spell check, USE IT!)
I was there at the coal rally thingy... It was great wasn't it??? It was great until it started raining and I got a cold. But it was worth it, knowing that we may have made a distance. Here in Kentucky, we need coal or we have no jobs. We have a very good education system but coal is the biggest job supporter around here. But we do need coal.
King George owned everyone in 1750, We the People thru off the King and became Sovereigns and created a corporate trust the u.s.A. until 1868 when a Corporation USA took over. The 14th ammendment created 'subjects' out of sovereigns. We had Common Law, still have Common Law and need to start Common Law Grand Juries (25 people) which originally was the 4th Branch of Gov. to indict the corrupt Gov.officials. Theres Hope for the Future. Learn the LAW and use it on the Trannical Gov.
I'm going to contact my politicians simply by removing them from office come next election. They have already proved to me they don't care, time to really change!
Time for BO to load up that bus with all his socialist Czars and himself and go back to Chicago. There's a wooden pew waiting for him at the Trinity Church where he can go worship without listening for another 20 years.
If you have not been raised with the CORRECT KNOWLEDGE of COAL you have NO IDEA how stupid you sound to "all us coalminers and their families." You have NO FREAKING IDEA what you are talking about. The government policies against coal, etc, has NEVER been about coal, it is about MONEY and POLITICS, just like everything else crappily done in America. Wake up, America. I do not know all about this guy Ted, but I know about COAL and what goes on in WV and KY and TRUST ME, coal is NOT the problem.
Holy shit if you stand behind this man, please stand in front of a bus. Ted and Sean are fucking morons and only the most ignorant undereducated republican inbreeds could support such idiots. The right to bear arms is not nearly as important as the other problems that are going on around us.
I was here too!!! THIS WAS AWESOME! I am going to upload my videos' of Hank jr playing guitar Tommorow.. Sound quality is kinda bad.. My favorite was prolly when Hank Willams and Ted Nugent started rockin out Walk this way :D
FACT: In 2006, there were 30,896 gun deaths in the U.S: 12,791 homicides (41% of total deaths), 16,883 suicides (55% of total deaths), 642 unintentional shootings (2% of total deaths), 360 from legal intervention (1.2% of total deaths) and 220 from undetermined intent (.8% of total deaths).
(Numbers obtained from CDC National Center for Health Statistics mortality report online, 2009.)
Uncle Ted 'knows' his shit!
