The show on Friday was great. The F-22 Raptor was increadiably powerful ( and loud :) )The 6 Blue angels this year was great.. . Went into numerous cockpits ( C-130 / Boeing 737-700, Cessna 172, etc. Seeing other cockpits etc. It was great, I hope anyone in the area gets to go.

you went friday?? wow that was a gloomy day. i usually go on friday, but i knew it would be crappy weather. i arrived in the area when the Blue Angels took off and the diamond flew like 30 ft above the beltway and over my car. ha. i travel down there from Western PA. we pulled over at the end of the runway to watch the show on friday. Saturday's weather was fantastic! i got burnt real bad though. stupid me for forgetting to put sunscreen on. i cant wait for next year.

The weather wasn't too bad :) there were actually many LONG periods of partly cloudy skies ( I actually got burned too :P ) Yeah, the blue angels were good. can't wait for next year!

shuttle is absolutely free from Fed Ex Field to the Air Base - The best way to go as they bypass traffic and the cops let them use the shoulder and stop traffic for the shuttles. It is a bit of a wait when its all over, but take your time at the end of the day - you'll get home eventually

gates probably open around 8am. but flying really doesnt start until like 10. it's may 17 and 18 but on may 16 it's DoD day for military members and family. i'm going!!

Yes. First song was the Snowbirds and second song was the Blue Angels. God bless them, as I know each demonstration team recently lost a pilot in a crash.

Hey! I just got back from Andrews AFB air show. We went on Friday. It was cold, cloudy, windy, and drizzled alittle bit. Surprisingly the show went on. It was awesome. Did you go?

Hey, yes I did go but on Saturday. I am in the Coast Guard so I was working at the USCG booth in Hangar 2 by the Coast Guard NASCAR.

thats cool. im trying to think if i went into hangar 2. i really dont think i did. haha. i went into 4,3 and the very last one by 1. It was by the U2. But they might of put the U2 roped off with the F22 on Saturday. It wasnt roped off for us on Friday. It was by a hangar b/c earlier it was raining and the paint cant get wet. I was shocked that it wasnt roped off...there is still really secret stuff on that plane.

The only Coast Guard stuff i saw was the planes. I bet Saturday was a much better day. It was clearing when i left around 9am.

Yea i went to see the Coast Guard C-130 so I could talk to the pilot. I want to fly those when I finish college next year.

Yeah i saw the C-130. Friday was only for DoD cardholders. So pretty much for military personnel or and for school trips too. I have a DoD card. My dad was in the air force. I like going on Friday because not a lot of people are there...well especially if the weather is crappy. ha.

i like this video. i was there that year. in the last 4 years i've gone to JSOH 4 times. Last year was a rain out. we go on the DOD day. but Saturday was awesome but we left before the Thunderbirds went on. I'm looking forward to this year's.

I'm glad you liked the video. I was just having some fun with my dad's new (at the time) digital camera. I was bored one day and just put music to it. I hope you can show your friends or pass it on to aviation enthusiasts. I myself am a pilot, hopefully flying C-130s when i graduate college and get my commission as an officer.
