slugger changes as mass media changes him and the media and fever behind the 'kid with the golden bat and rollerblades' was absorbed on a sub consiouse level and then used by the brain for a defence.

Naruto achieves what intensity does not.

I couldn't expect less from Satoshi Kon!!! He is definitely the best director!! I loved Perfect Blue, Millennium Actress, Paprika and I liked Tokyo Godfathers. Watching Paranoia Agent was like seeing scenes or characters from these movies in only one show. But in fact, the movies were inspired from the series.

Anyway, very good anime!! The psychological analysis, the mystery, the horror, the butterfly effect, the craziness, the paranoia... all these were perfectly depicted in PA. Impressive!!
