do you have a double bss pedal or do you use the td9s hi hat pedal?

I have a single bass pedal. I do not use the hi-hat pedal as a bass pedal. It´s a kind of bass drum technique called "heel-toe" technique or something like that for double kick.

@BigBoiJC i have been playing drums for less then a year and can also play this well. I also play guitar, piano and trumpet. some people just learn fast. Nice video and nice job playing. now i got to download this version so i can jam with it

Amazing! Congratulations on your rapid progress in drumming! I turned 40 last year and bought my TD-9KX yesterday. I'll have weekly drum lessons starting this week and can't wait to make quick progress. Having so much fun already!

Being a huge Genesis & Phil Collins fan for over twi decades now I really hope that I'll be able to play some Collins/Genesis sons soon, too. :-)

great job man one question though. Im looking to get this drum set once i have enough money from christmas , if i wanted to buy 2 pd-120 or 125 pads and make them two floor toms instead of where you have added the extra pad, would it fit?

I´m afraid the rack is not big enough to fit 5 toms. If you find the way to put the 5´th pad, you can assign them the sounds that you like.

I just added the extra toms to the original stand. You`ve got enough room for them, but no extra space left.

kzblader: I`m afraid I wasn`t counting beats. I was just trying to dry the sweat of my forehead and my hands, opening my fingers. It was a very hot day when I recorded it.

i am a huge genesis fan (an im 16) .. im playing drums for about 10 years now ... for only one year playing drums, you do VERY well. and you're one of the first "beginners" that already play genesis stuff! keep on posting your drum-stuff, i like it!

Por desgracia no soy alumno suyo, aunque si estuviera más cerca de León lo sería seguro, porque es un fenómeno (ojo, de la percusión y de la edición de video, porque hay que ver los montajes que hace).

Y el sonido del ride es cierto, aunque en las pruebas si lo subía de volumen, resaltaba demasiado, lo mismo que los timbales.Esto es el método de prueba-error.A ver si mejoro los balances de sonido en la próxima.

I had already seen this video before you posted, and i loved froggpond`s version. So much that I suscribed to his channel because he plays really, really well.

Besides, he describes himself as a musician, so think he must be a "pro", and I`m not. So you must appreciate my playing as a begginer`s drumming. As I say in my id, I began drumming a year ago at 43.

Great work! Also, the drums sound fantastic. Electronic kits are fun. Too bad the cymbals don't sound as good, but that's why Phil and Chester themselves used real cymbals with their electronic drums. Other than that, it's all amazing.

Phil and Chester have always been using acoustic kits. As far as I know, they used electronic kits in "The Brazilian" and mixed with acoustic kits others during the Abacab Tour.

I`ll try to make and post a more complex version of this song in a short time.

I`m afraid you are wrong at that point Deere. If you watch the DVD Genesis live at Wembley Stadium, Phil plays electronic pads during the song "The Brazilian". Other songs are played with acoustic kits. At least that`s what I`ve seen. Tell me if I`m wrong. :-)
