  • thats one dark dangerous looking bird!!!! 0.0"

  • today he would get the leading role in alfred hitchcock's "birds"!

  • you guys must have very great jobs to afford 1 of them birds, i live in england,i have never heard of a palm c for sale here how much was he

  • MOWHAWK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • WOW! What kind of bird is that?!

  • @Kr8100 it is a black cockatoo

  • Nice mohawk

  • punk bird !

  • strange bird

  • its an emo cockatoo!!! :D

  • Very dinosaur-like, this one.

  • Just look at that beak O.o

  • What Kinda Bird O_o

  • What is it? O.O

  • @kwiatzabujcy Black Palm Cockatoo I think! AKA Birdzilla....O.O gorgeous...but scary. (but then all Cockatoos scare me!)

  • I would like to have this bird

  • Kakaktua Hitam from papua Indonesian and Australia

  • OMG I want such a bird too!! :D

  • I think it's amusing people view palms as wicked, cool, scary, etc, when they're among the sweetest and most gentle parrots by personality.

  • @gankama I have little experience with big parrots, but I have a smaller one, a Jardine, that has a really bad temper. It adores my mother and sister, though.

I guess the big ones need to be gentler, otherwise people wouldn't keep them as pets.

It's like that evolution thing, only with less jet engines and more parrots.

I wish i had some mustard.

  • @AnomalyINC Generally speaking, the larger the parrot, the more gentle it is. This of course will not apply to those that were brought up poorly, are forced to breed without natural selection, etc. We have an umbrella cockatoo, and he was a bit bitey in his early years. This was more because of our still learning how to understand the body language and his frustrations at us not listening. However, cockatoos tend to pick one person they also dislike, or pick on.

  • @gankama yours was very likely caged up and not taken care of with love in the past, thats probabbly why. Its a lot easier to tame animals when they are babies because they don't know any better, like us. And NO size does not matter. you can teach a finch bird just the same as a cockatoo! They are just as gentle, but of course it won't do as many things as a cockatoo will do. Animals don't pick who they dislike. they tend to pick who is more convinient to their wise, like us:).

  • @dunitrg56 Hardly, he's been spoiled his whole life, and only ever spends the night hours in his cage. Otherwise he's hanging out with us or snuggling me. I've known him since he was an egg, syringe fed him before he had feathers. What I said about size is generally true. A love bird will bite you harder than an umbrella, because an umbrella doesn't -have- to bite as hard to get a message across. They know they're capable of much worse.

  • Be very, very still. It's vision is based on movement....

  • HOLY SHIT! I would NOT want that thing to bite me...

  • holly sh**** were can i buy it?!?!??!

  • i dream of one day having one of these beautiful birds

  • @Gecko1265 they only cost about 15k $ a piece.

  • @Gecko1265 You would need one hell of an expensive license and one hell of a giant cage to keep one of these

  • You are correct 15000.00 US Dollars approximately this bird is not for budget minded people. Basically if you need to ask it's too much for you.

  • I checked in the internet for breeders of this wonderful birds and the price was $15,000 - $18,000 or so. Someone here forgot to ad a 0 to his/her amount.

  • that beak looks mean as heck.
