alors evidemment j adore laurent, plus grand artiste techno français.

cependant j ai l impression qu il s est serieusement ramoli dans ces tendances musicales, on est loin de ces prod a ces debut. son obsession actuelle a inserer de l accoustique me laisse assez perplexe, surtout qd c est aussi statique comme le sont les saxo dans le cas present.. c est plus pour les apparences que pour operer une reelle difference avec un sampler

Je l'ai vu jouer en 1996 pr la 1ére fois et je peux dire que oui il a évolué (comme tout le monde) mais qu'il fait toujours danser les foules et c'est bien la le plus important !!!

@tanche34 non mais je pense que Underpressure a quelque peu raison, meme si le terme "ramoli" n'est pas adéquat.. Laurent est un artiste monstrueusement talentueux, et c'est vrai qu'il le restera . Par contre, il est vrai q'il a beaucoup évolué depuis ces 10 dernieres années. J'ai connu Mr Garnier a l'epoque de la première Techno Parade en France (Paris en 1998) , et ses set était essentiellement à base de vraie techno (lourde et puissante ) ...aujourd'hui ce n'est absolument pas ce qu'il joues

Laurent Garnier is the absolute master of techno.  His DJ sets are fucking unreal seamlessly moving from one genre to another but then I went to his live set in Birmingham last weekend and it was unreal. An hour and a half of pure music class. A younger mate of mine who's only 23 and hadnt really heard too much of him came with us and was blown away. 10 out of 10

Very enjoyable 5+ min of live music!

You must put in your mind you go for a live show rather than a classic DJ set, when it comes to Laurent Garnier, otherwise you will be disappointed.

Though I wouldn't go every weekend for something like that, it's something I would enjoy once in a while, but to the full :-)
