i live in toronto... great city..... but they dont have light shows on this thing every night.... however it is still a amasing structure... few people know it was the worlds tallest free standing structure for over 35 years until pussy ass duabi came along.... a interesting fact is that the highest observation platform the public can go to in the burj duabi is lower then that of the space deck of the cn tower... all the highest floors of the burj are reserved for the super rich
Don't forget to visit, Casa Loma, Ontario science center, AGO, The Museum, Black Creek Pioneer village, The Annex, Eaton Center, Roy Thompson Hall, City Hall/Old city hall.
come on evey body dont be bias i love canada and usa expect cali there going to hell in a hand basket the rate there paying the movie stars now wonder there haveing problems with there money
@donnny101= That's true, and I'm American. Still, I'm glad to have Canada as a neighbor. You can always count on them to help out when they're needed.
I have worked for this facility and I have to tell you it is a building that I honour with all my heart for the views are breathtaking day or night. The glass floor, SkyPod and so forth all make up the uniqueness of this wonderful place.
Toronto is very different from New York,, I dont know why people keep insisting that they're the same or similar.. Toronto has its own culure, attitude, and feel..
But anyway.. What is t he song in this video!? I need to know!
I love seeing this from my window every night. Toronto is such an amazing city, I love it here! :o) ..(i guess we do kinda consider ourselves the centre of the universe.. but when you're here it feels like you are!)
What an American thing to say. Im Canadian and I like New York, does that mean im not Canadian? Its a great city, all of our cities are great and so are alot of Americas.

Pretty cheesy. More reason not to visit Toronto. Heck, I'm from suburban Detroit (which I admit is no jewel), and I found TONS more bums on the streets there than Deeeetroit.
@mattmax11 If I have to give you a grammar and spelling lesson, you're pretty pathetic. Better go back and ask your teachers. Apparently being educated in Tornoto is gay from your comment. Keep enjoying this gay tower video with really pretty music. Doesn't take much to impress Canadians - this, hockey, and Tim Hortons.
@mattmax11 You don't understand how to use punctuation, either. In your most recent and stupid post here, it's "spelled", not spelt; "there are", not "there's". "Spelling errors" is plural, or do you not know what that means? Keep watching the pretty tower, maybe it will inspire you to pull out a grammar book and dictionary.
I'm from Montreal and I "love" the atmosphere of Toronto City. I hope to move in Toronto one day! I "love" lthe CN tower! It's the most beautiful structure in the world. I really enjoy the view in the skypod. By looking this video, I'm proud to be a Canadian!
Sure, it may have (finally) been beaten in height, but the CN Tower remains as one of the finest architectural achievements of modern society. The lighting only enhances its stature.
The CN Tower is a crown corporation of the Federal Government by the way... the city of Toronto would have never have paid for that anyways. The money was provided by various corporations in Canada as donations, the biggest payers were the oil companies.
You're lame man. Toronto is awesome,, and this lighting is so cool.. either you're just a depressed unhappy person.. or you're not from here and you're just jelous.
I visited Toronto a month after they installed the lights and almost shit myself with how beautiful it was. I live in LA and we have the Hollywood sign and alot of other landmarks, but none even compare to the CN Tower
en serio, Canada es el mejor pais del mundo, nunca deje de dudarlo, y no dejare de creer, y la mejor ciudad del mundo es Toronto!!!! como quisiera ser de Canada, Canada!!!!!
this actually gave me a few tears to my eyes, i miss my home and to make it worse for me to hold composure, the launch was on my birthday June 28th, i was moved away before then :(
Taken for granted for so many years. Yet it dominates our skyline, then back in late June something spectacular took place, as visible here in this video.
It still causes me to go: WOW!
The tower still, captivates, inspires and has us still...looking up to the sky.
I was just in Toronto (where I'm originally born).. and, I couldn't stop looking up at it... Even when it just pops up behind the buildings when I was walking in Down Town I had to stand and glaze upon it...
It really is beautiful and it makes me proud to be what I am!
A truly spectacular light show befitting a truly spectacular architectural delight! I can see a lot of the tower from my 23rd floor windows ....... and never, ever tire of the sight of it!
The music is the piece that was composed for the event. I got the music on a cd because the company I work for installed the lights. I'm glad i found this angle to video it from. With the two elevator shafts you can really see the images scroll by. Did you know that all the provincial & territorial flags scroll by during the show?
I was there and I thought it was spectacular!! This is the absolute best video I've found of it - I didn't have my camera so this is staying on my favourites!!!!
when I see an inspiring video like this, it's makes me damn proud to be Canadian... God bless Canada!!!!, one beautiful light show too :)
