I'm sorry, but these ads are terrible. I don't want people driving around while under the influence of substances, but this ad format isn't particularly interesting - it is just awkward.
The ghost chips ad was far more productive - it really got people talking. People were talking about it at work constantly.
I know these Ads are to show that taking substances while driving can cause accidents and if too much can cause death.. They should say it not spray it, meaning rather getting people to announce how "High" they are to the world, they should show the driving behavior and people loosing concentration - doing the acting in a safe place of course.. Some people watching these Ads on tv think its a joke cause it looks so fake, we need people to take things seriously
the thing is people wouldnt be announcing to theor passengers that theyre high.theyd be trying to hide it.these ads dont get the message accross that was intended
@Vaul96 These ads are designed to start a conversation not to convince anyone anything. We want kiwis to start talking about drug driving and whether they think its safe, or a problem and if so in what situations. We'd love to know what your think.
@Zackoboy19 The lady in the back seat isn't acting. Only the lady in the front seat is. The lady in the back thinks the situation is real and is unaware she is being filmed.
unrealistic ads that make you think what morons, they are probably the ones taking these mind altering substances, Its good to show people that is can cause accidents but trying to make it look real is a joke, get a proper taxi and a proper taxi driver with his identification card and then make an ad, not getting some random people to do it
@CoreFinder100 These videos aren't supposed to represent taxi drivers. There's no implication that we have a problem with taxi drivers doing drugs - we want to get kiwis talking about the issue of drugs and driving and whether they think it is a problem and if so in what circumstances. We'd love to know what you think.

Should people drive drugged? No. Of course they shouldn't.
Should simple possession of cannabis for personal use be a criminal offence? Of course it bloody well shouldn't.
Get up, go to work and put in a hard day's yakka, come home and prepare dinner, take care of any odds and ends like the recycling. Sit down and enjoy a glass of wine if that's what you're in to, sit down and enjoy some cannabis if that's what you're in to.

The war on drugs is the biggest waste of funds, time and propaganda ever seen miss leading public perception and criminalising innocent people who wante to expand their conscious mind with naturally occurring substances which your body is hard wired to accept eg cannabis and cannabinoids , psilocybin and serotonin, amphetamines and dopamine
please legalise DMT as it is found in every human beings spinal fluid. Or should we arrest the whole population, because it is a class 1 illegal drug?
legalise plant drugs cannabis, cocaine, and psilocybin mushrooms, (making then free they the belong to the animal body and no one else). any man made chemical changes done to these substances make illegal, thus targeting organised crime. majority of drug users would agree this is the solution, as the government has no more business knowing your state of mind, than the governments used to dictate sexual positions in the privacy of your own mind and property, unless you have committed a crime.
@Phenomenaman I agree. I FULLY agree. If you really want this to be an eye opener or even just a proper ad campaign, chuck the bastards on the said substances or FUCK OFF. You don't know what you are talking about until you have done it yourself.
poll option 3, don't know, can you provide me with some statistics and other information that will help me better make up my mind on this complex issue.
I think these are really neat - Im a kiwi and I love the thought behind them - its really interesting to see how people are reacting to the situations - great work :)
These commercials are ridiculous. It would be different if the driver were actually intoxicated, but they're not, they're just pretending to be, and doing a horrible job of it.
