I know this is 3 months ago but I just have to answer it for anyone reading this now. Wifi works but ds download and play does not. The official ds web browser only works if you have the ram expansion and only on the regular version not the + version. All games run at or very super close to full speed

GBA roms don't work because of a security built into the DS. You need the ez flash 3 and 1 expansion pack for the second slot to go along with it. This device gives you GBA rom compatibility, Extra ram for the DS browser and special homebrew apps, and Rumble Pack features.
