  • Wait, where's the rest of the song??? :(

  • THIS IS ONE FUNNY ASS MOVIE--- eat a root and watch it-lol----- giggity

  • He sing like a bitch.

  • "Along the tumbleweed trail..."

  • I just watched this movie again for the first ime in a few years, and it is gut bustingly funny. There are SO many awesome parts, I could fill 10 comments with all the parts I love.

Andy Griffith was awesome, the town root junkie, Sela Ward (cattle baron's daughter was a BABE), the sheep herders, (the 'I'll shoot your wife in the shoulder' -scream! ), the 'do you have 3 rifles with telescopic scopes? 'yes'', the emergency break on the train, and Bob Barber. SO many awesome scenes. LOVE IT

  • "Root's beginning to work...Yeah, it's definitely kickin' in now."

  • I knew these were the comments that would be posted.

  • I like when the town drunk turns into the town "root" guy.

  • This is one of my favorite movies. I laugh hysterically every time I see it. "You know, root?"

  • Argh! You cut off the song!

Tom Berenger was quite handsome when he was younger

  • I love this movie

  • I just love that Andy Griffith was a gay cattle baron....especially the part where Blackie died...."he could touch, he could feel" LOL!

  • This is the very definition of "underrated 80's movie." Thanks for the clip!

  • have you seen

    the apocyliptic movie

    thief in the night

  • Hi there! Thanks for uploading this piece of video. I never saw Tom Berenger singing! Is he really singing himself? Best regards from Germany!

  • I don't think it is actually Tom Berenger singing. That may be part of the spoof on low-budget westerns, where the voice of the hero singing is dubbed by a singer who sounds quite different from the actor himself.

  • Funny film...please rent it...it's great...classic funny well done'

  • @LtsSng1 Yeah- I watched this in the 80's, and it is sorta hokey, but I still loved it - GORGEOUS Palomino he rode, wasn't he? And I got a bang out of seeing all the clothes, hats, the elaborate gunbelt, etc. Sela Ward was great as Andy Griffith's daughter- remember how she got dragged for what looked like MILES by her horse- and when Tom caught up with her & stopped the horse - he bent down and wiped a small smear of dirt from her cheek? she should've looked MUCH worse- SO funny --

  • I loved Marilu Henner in this film! Talk about a babe!

  • classic funny spoof

  • NICE

  • AHHH You should of at least hlet him finish that song

    I love this movie
