  • I don't like Freddie Mercury or Robert Plant as vocalists, too screechy and/or girlie. Steve who? Perry who? ELVIS is the greatest Southern Singer, obviously. That you can even consider Delp is just plain wrong. Why not make your disgrace complete and include Springsteen and Elton John, man? And the idiot non-entity from Pink Floyd! Dixie, secede again, please. Your musical taste is not American.

  • Nuh-uh. 1.) Jim Morrison; 2.) Roger Daltrey; 3.) Elvis Presley; 4.) David Bowie; 5.) John Lennon; 6.) Paul McCartney; 7.) Mick Jagger; 8.) Grace Slick; 9.) Janice Joplin; 10.) Jimi Hendrix. :P

    8. Scott

    9. Gilmour

    10. William Hung

  • van zant??be seriuos

  • Ah, Perry will always be the best voice ever!

  • I would switch Steve Perry and Steven Tyler.....

  • like your list!

But we can argue about this endlessly. But you can't say he or she is the best singer ever.

  • Wheres brad delp ?? U know from boston he's #1

  • Not a bad list; but Freddie Mercury was the Ultimate performer & had an amazing voice - class of his own!!!

  • Steven Tyler No 1

  • MUITO LIXO ISSO

  • how can be steven tyler better than Freddy Mercury come on man, drop the pipe of crack

  • Where is Bruce Dickinson????

  • Bon scott should be like, 4!

  • Freddie should be the first

  • James Hetfield before he lost his great voice

  • 1: Chris Cornell

    2: Steve Perry

    3: Ian Gillan

    4: Robert Plant

    5: David Coverdale

Second last: Sheep caught in electric fence

    Last: Axl Rose

  • @murarhasse i love axl

  • @murarhasse totally agree. axl rose sucks so much but freddie should be 1st

  • WOW!!! Mercury #1, best vocal range!!! How did David Lee Roth get in there???? Hagar has the ability to sing hard rock and ballads, also write what he sings.

  • @redhead5150 Mercury's vocal range is far from the widest (though it is certainly good).

  • Steve Marriott number one,Paul Rodgers at number two case closed and don't forget John Lennon :)

  • agree

  • name of the song?

    is it by seether?

  • shitty list, shitty song. C'mon man, everything in this video is a shit. FREDDIE IS FIRST. AXL ROSE IS LAST, HE JUST SUCKS!

  • @TorsiSimon Rose is extremely skilled.

  • @GoodGuitarSolos yeah, when he is cooking or clening or something like that, or in destroying our ears. Yeah, agree.

  • @TorsiSimon He is technically extremely skilled, like him or not. Denying that only proves that you have no idea about what singing is.

  • @GoodGuitarSolos yes i do and that's why i don't like axl but fellow, it's just an opinion

  • @TorsiSimon No, you don't seem to understand my point. You can have your opinion about Axl, you can dislike him as much as you want, fine. Calling him technically unskilled isn't an opinion though, singing-wise he is extremely skilled and that can't be denied with opinions.

  • No Paul Rodgers, David Coverdale, Ronnie James Dio, Michael Kiske? Incomplete list.

  • wheres DIO

  • Where is Dio?

  • No Paul Rogers? Are you mad. Never sang with any of my favourite bands but what a singer! Plus, wheres Rob Halford and Bruce Dickinson. These have got the most powerful lungs in rock and an unbelievable range. Halford sings like he's got a pair of belows up his backside (insert obvious comment here).

  • :S That's Bad

  • Cual es la Cancion de fondo??

  • bullshit dude

  • Freddie Mercury

    Bruce Dickinson

    Rob Halford

  • are we confusing performing (entertaining) with singing? would you rate these guys the same way if you had your eyes closed? you overlooked the incomparable Jeff Buckley as did most of the American music audience--so very unfortunate for you who have never heard of him; luckily there are 100 YT videos to enlighten you

  • Ian Gillan is the best rock vocal ever.

  • not mine

  • Top five should be Steve Perry, Robert Plant, Freddie Mercury, Steven Tyler and Bon Scott. Also Dio and Ozzy up there in the top ten...

  • @DeAdiSSu3 Your list awfully closely resembles mine. You sure know your music, my friend.:) There absolutely is no doubt Perry and Plant are the very best. However, it's debatable whether Mercury is better than David Coverdale or even Geoff Tate. Oh, don't get me wrong. Mercury is definitely one of the best, and he's on my Top10 list, but guys like Dio and Ian Gillan sang with probably more soul, whereas Mercury was more of a showman. I never care for newer stuff from Tyler. Way too pop for me.

  • @6PERRYFAN4 Yeah Tyler's 70's voice is the one i'm referring to, and Dio, Ian and Tate had some truely amazing voices and range. Thank fuck I was raised on a good healthy diet of rock n roll!

  • @6PERRYFAN4 Jeff Buckley, anyone?

  • ridiculous. Everybody knows that a good list needs to have Robert Plant in the 2nd place and Freddie Mercury in the 1st place

  • @TorsiSimon Bullshit, Freddie was a truely amazing vocalist but Robert Plant has him beat.

  • @DeAdiSSu3 no he doesn't. Freeddie 1st and Robert 2nd. Robert Plant has an amazing voice, no doubt but Freddie's voice is slightly better

  • You forgot Bono of U2.

  • Big mistake my friend...Steven Tyler should be at the top...just my opinion

  • The list is not so bad, but the song is a motherfucking piece of shit!!!!

  • ridiculous....

  • AXL should be in the first place..

  • @irenepacifica Fuck u! Fuck u! Axl sucks, he looks like an annoying girl when he sings. And don't tell me he's got a different style but that style is good, because his style is the worst i've ever seen, and so is his voice

  • lmao at the list

first - Freddie is number 1, sorry, no contest. Not my favorite, but it's fact.

second - damn, where the hell is RONNIE JAMES DIO? I hate how people underestimate him so much. Damn.

  • @KynetykPower yeah, he is a bit underrated nowadays but i think hes shouldn't be 2nd

  • I'm sorry if im being a total derp but was the singer of Boston on here? (I didn't watch the whole thing) Cause the singer of Boston WAS one of the best rock singers ever. He could hold high notes for like ever. Just saying.

  • @TheAthenasOwl His name is Brad Delp. Yes, he sounded great in studio recording, but he couldn't sing even close to it live. While I like his vocals with Boston, I don't think you could say he's one of the all time greats because a vocalist has to be judged by his singing ability in live performances, not just in CD's.

  • @6PERRYFAN4 Well, before I replied to this I listened to Peace of Mind live and I didn't think it was that bad, I mean yah he was bit pitchy sometimes but I don't think it really had that much affect. But what I didn't like is how he changed the way he sang THE SONG and well, I'll be honest, CHANGE IS BAD (It's probably just me but I don't care). But you are right, a singer should be judged on his/ her live perfomances. Art Garfunkel for example, his live perfomances are godly.

  • STEVEN TYLER SHOULD HAVE BEEN NUMBER 1

  • Freddie Mercury on 3 yea good list dude great one, and by the way where is Ian Gillan??? If ur talkin bout top singers People like Gillan Dio Should be in the list!

  • where is layne staley?

  • Geddy Lee?......Brad Delp?

  • Bowie gets no love...

  • Not a single entry for a woman? Jeez....

  • JAMES MAYNARD KEENAN

  • I think what Freddie must be #1

  • have you not heard of Ozzy Osbourne!!! now there is a singer that knows how to sing

  • @EricT1618 Ozzy Osbourne is one of the worse singers ever!! he is so bad, so bad, SO BAD. The only singer that is worse than Ozzy is Axl Rose

  • @TorsiSimon What is wrong with Ozzy? Nowadays he is pretty bad but back in his Black Sabbath-days he was pretty good. His solo album No More Tears also has really good vocals in it. After that he started to get really bad though...

  • lol

  • o k list id change it a little bit though

  • why Kurt Cobain is no't at 1st 10?!

  • Where is Ian Gillan - should be BEFORE your No. 1 lol.

  • @Lil1943 I agree, he's the greatest rock vocalist of all time.

  • the song in the vid ??

  • @uchihanis - The song is "Simplest Mistake" by "Seether," and I think that there's a strong Nirvana influence there, if I'm not mistaken.

@thepancake1 - thanks for posting this. A great track, and it's inspired me to find out more about this band. I really love the guy's vocal funnily enough!!

  • @kiwizeppelin And that "karaoke singer" is doing the karaoke of, well, Perry's signature songs. Perry wasn't replaced. He resigned from Journey.

  • why the fuck is plant in 4th - he is no 1 material and where the hell is dio

  • wheres the fucking dio

  • WHERE THE FUCK IS DIO

    My god... stupid.

  • I'm calling BS! on sabastian bach & Axel Rose!..How is it you have a top 10 list & leave the top 10 off it...if Jim Morrison,Roger Daltrey,Janis Joplin & layne staley aint on it....its not a top 10 list thats for damn sure!!!

  • WHERE THE FUCK IS KURT COBAIN IN THIS LIST

  • Axl Rose should have been higher then David Lee Roth !

  • Six of the all-time best left off this list...

Elvis Presley, Roy Orbison, Little Richard, John Fogerty, Leslie West, Roger Daltrey

  • sebastian bach wud hv been the #3

  • what the fuck is Robert Plant doing on the 4th place??????? he is supposed to be the first, or the second

  • freddie M is way better Fred is No 1

  • Geddy Lee anyone?

  • @LegionOf3 No,he isn't really that great, and his voice is so weird that it can get annoying.

  • I was suprised to see Ronnie Van Zant on the list, and disappointed that John Fogerty was left off.

  • @TheJumpyPopcorn Well,i agree on all points except one,Judas Priest's Rob Halford and Mercyful Fate's King Diamond have bigger ranges.

  • You left out the greatest rock singer of all time Paul Rodgers of Free and Bad Company?. AND AXEL ROSE SUCKS!

  • Ahhh Sebastian Bach. Someone finally has taste.

  • Mick Jagger lol!

  • Paul Rodgers-Bad Co.

  • What the fuck! No Robin Zander! What a shame! Still going strong!

  • Steve perry at 1# this list is bullshit with on shitty 80s bands and no Mick Jagger

  • Just sayin you should have made room for Jim Morrison!

  • There are definatly more then 10. This vid is nonsense.

  • @volcomgirl2014 lol sorry that wasnt for you xD

  • @volcomgirl2014 fail

  • 1. Freddie Mercury (R.I.P)

    2. Steve Perry

    3. Geddy Lee

    4. Roger Daltery

    5. Robert Plant

    6. Sebasten Bach

    7. Jim Morrison (R.I.P)

    8. Michael Jackson (R.I.P)

    9. Bradley Delp

    10. Bon Scott (R.I.P)

  • Ronnie Dio? Roger Daltrey (The Who)? And someone explain me the reason why Robert Plant appears in any list while Sting sell 1.000.000 of discs more than him anytime.

  • Ronnie Dio? Roger Daltrey (The Who)?

  • WTF?

Freddie Mercury is the best vocalist of all time. It´s a fact.

  • You got three of my favourite vocalists in the top three :) but in the wrong order haha. I would of liked to have seen Paul Rodgers in the list too as his blues voice is second to none. Steve Perry is one of my favourite vocalists and is definitely one of the best but for me the number one would have to be Freddie Mercury for his sheer emotion, versatility, power and his complete command over every audience he ever entertained. His voice to me was so pure, touching and moving, my opinion anyway.

  • Steven Tyler front of Freddie Mercury? are you seriously?

  • Number 1 = Freddie Mercury, he had the gift! the purest voice in all history of music

  • where are Ozzy And Kurt??? and Bon Scott should be number 1

  • don't like the background music :D

  • and why is not Paul Stanley from kiss here??

just so you get a taste of his voice search on youtube . Kiss Unplugged i still love you.

  • Axl Rose

  • you're way off dude holy fuck

  • there is ian gillan? he is ameazing

  • I miss George Corpse Grinder Fisher!!

  • My Top 10: 1.Steve Perry 2.(tie) Robert Plant 2.(tie) David Coverdale 4. Geoff Tate 5. Freddie Mercury 6. Ian Gillan 7. Ronnie James Dio 8. Joe Lynn Turner 9. Joe Elliot 10. Don Henley

  • While I think Freddie Mercury was a rare talent and a great showman, I really am not touched and moved by his vocals as much as by those of Steve Perry and other blues and soul based vocalists. Of course, tastes in the music are quite subjective thing, and I've got no desire to 'convert' others, but I'm just stating my opinion, just like others here.

  • @TheJumpyPopcorn LOL!!! As if your opinion counts...keep dreaming. And yeah, "THE VOICE" also belongs to Perry. Even Jon Bon Jovi introduced him as such in a concert, where Perry was a guest performer.

  • @TheJumpyPopcorn LMAO!!! Madonna? Yeah, that figures. How can you not be retarded with that name? So, you want some respect, eh? Well, you're the one that broke the golden rule first, moron, by not respecting mine with your f'g reply. What goes around comes around. Remember?

  • @TheJumpyPopcorn Hey, you old hag. I wouldn't f'g care what kind of crap you'd bark all by yourself. The problem was when you click that f'g reply button to bark crap at me. What, you thought you could somehow 'convert' or 'transform' my thoughts about certain artists? Think again, bytch. I already got my mind made up a long, long time ago. Yeah, that's right. It was back when your virus-carrying hero still had a pulse. Now, go back and drink some more of that virus-containing bong water. LMAO!

  • @TheJumpyPopcorn Wow, you old bag. You're losing it, aren't ya? It sounds like you're overheating with rage. I'm really worried about you. Watch your blood pressure, won't you? LMAO!!!

  • @TheJumpyPopcorn LMAO!!! Let's just say I had a tad more respect for the dead guy BEFORE you barked sh*t at me. Hey, I think you are indeed maniacal in your delusions to come up with all the f'g accusations, but you know what? I don't f'g care, because you're truly f'd up with all those fake accounts you have. OK, mercuryforever, TheJumpyPopcorn, queenfan07...are there any more? hahaha!!! Btw, don't you ever blame me for being two-faced. YOU are the one that betrayed me first.

  • @6PERRYFAN4 First off. The dead guy is Freddie Mercury. Second, bobody here insulted or disrespected Seteve Perry like I said I think he´s an awesome singer. I don´t have any fake accounts
