  • Was this a comic relief special, becuase this was a total joke

  • I'd buy one.

  • 2:33 laughing at the poor man ..... thats why kevin o leary is the better dragon than these cunts here

  • i can't believe they made him a deal

  • 1:58 when he said "he wants a 4min egg because he likes it so " i stopped watching the video

  • the background music is way better than canada's dragon den which is a better show than this one

  • What nonsense. He gets the deal? Should have been kicked out.

  • If it worked it could sell like other household items like toasters and microwaves. Presentation went wrong but it didn't mean that it didn't work.

It probably works perfectly at his home but failed during the presentation. I too would invest heavily in this if I had his word that it worked.

  • OMG why he didn't try the machine b4 his presentation !

  • Peter also said he had nothing to offer him and would be hands off. That's a red flag and clear sign that he doesn't know how to help or care about the invention. If he's an asshole with him from the moment they met, he's probably gonna continue to be one.

  • Example of How to Give a Truly "Bad" Presentation '

  • This inventor seems like Will out of the Inbetweeners as an older man.

  • Its a wicked idea actually too bad it dont work....Id buy one if it worked

  • i'd want one..

  • When the prototype didn't work, it reminded me of classical British electrics!

  • Wow, the product ended up selling well.

  • Get real, forgetting to put an egg in is hardly a terrible mistake... What does that have to do with it being a bad of good invention?

  • @autofreak7 I didn't understand that either. He probably forget cause Peter was bitching over a 4min egg instead of 5. Then he's the 1st to act like the guy fucked up so bad that there's no hope left in life. You're right, forgetting the egg has nothing to do with a bad invention. I hope the guy has as much success with it. Everybody makes mistakes at inopportune times, they just have superiority complexes.

  • @WillGotti lol this was filmed in 2006. until 2009 he still hadn't fixed the problem. by the way the dragons pulled out after they filmed this video. and the "invention" is a total disaster.

  • @nepalihercules Well he screwed up, it could've been something. Peter is still a bozo for acting like he did. I despise people who act like that. Give you shit then when someone else believes in you then here they come.

  • Oh poor guy. And he was given 3 chances!

  • Why is "Dragons Den" so stupid compared to "Shark Tank." "Oh no James forgot to the put the egg in the cooker, he blew it!" Dragons Den is produced for the lowest common denominator where Shark Tank is actually entertaining for people with an interest in business.

  • @mxames

I disagree. I dislike Shark Tank because it just feels like a cheesy over-Americanized piece of television claptrap, ripping off this show and overdoing it in a failed attempted to improve the format. Dragons Den isn't exactly television gold either, but its straightforward entertainment; seeing interesting products that could be the next big thing, watching people buckle under the pressure, and gaging the often scathing response of the dragons.

  • @ProjectAmmonite Americans are very entrepreneurial and are more interested in television about actual business than narrated dramatizations. Most American's tend to have small side business's while simultaneously working for someone else, it is just in our nature. The two shows are obviously directed at two very different audiences.

  • That product was just one big yoke

  • @LokiV LOL

  • He just went on for the crack

  • @11yolkel if you actually were a owner of a successful business you wouldn't be here bragging about, your just a dreamer

  • A product just under £20... Surely it would be cheaper to use the good old fashioned pan and water????

  • @loonygoldfish Sure you could use a pan and all of that, but its about convenience. What about someone who hates going out of to cook eggs? Pop it in the cooker, go get ready, and the egg is ready when you come back. No one cooks Toast on an oven or something because its so much easier on a toaster. I think a hybrid toaster/egg-cooker that worked would be a pretty good idea.

  • BOIL AN EGG YA MORONS!!!

  • Oh i feel so sorry for the guy bless him

  • @stephxdancer Why? Guys a fucking bafoon. XD

  • if he cooked any slower he wouldn't need an egg timer...he would need an egg calendar!

  • @olliepfc94 LOL....LMAO

  • A fine deal,a great product & a solid investment

  • @alexxdeadly it didn't even work! lol

  • idiot

  • At first I thought it was a good invention.... Then I thought about how easy boiling an egg already is. Egg + water + heat = ACTUALLY WORKS. XD

  • I'm a student and I could make good use of something like this.

  • lol this guy is my mates father his name is william frater langley grammar school his father gave us a test and they work but eggs taste like shit, well what you expect first time no worky worky second time same thing =P

  • This is actually a pretty good idea... He could make a better prototype with the investment he get's. I'd buy it if it were working... Now I'm hungry lol

  • I'm going to bring a time machine in that doesn't work - maybe the dragons will buy that too? :P

  • Hey! Is that Jack Lord?! ;])

  • I don't know why anyone would throw money at this without the product working.

  • Class E44D From Republic poly is here... To Watch this long 9 boring mins of our lives. Well its school, so fk it.

Shout out to, Jack, Isk, Shaik, Feeqah, Pui Pui .. and the rest with <3

  • @zalsetan

you mean to say you have to watch this for school?

That's wonderful, and more than I could have hoped for when I posted this!

  • I was filmed presenting to the dragons for over 2 hours three years ago.

It was never televised as the Dragons made a complete fool of themselves, they have final say as to what goes out - on reflection I escaped a fate worse than death, imagine waking up and realising that you are in busines with one of those fools.

My product now is the leader in its field - AND OWN 100% OF IT.

  • @zalsetan LOL u kidding me ? sounds like fun school to me

  • mann i wanna be the dragons now

  • did he bring ones that r broken or am i missing something..

  • I bought one about 3 years agoy (cost 10 euros) and it has been an extremely usefull and time saving device. I don't know how old this video is, but I really doubt an egg cooker is even a new invention?

  • Republic poly is here to invade this video! >:]

  • i want the 4 minutes egg which is i like it lol owned

  • The idea isn't utterly ridiculous I eat a lot of eggs, but it failed twice ffs lol

  • I'd buy it for sure. As a student I would be using it every day.

  • A Great product, despite the problems demonstrating the egg cooker. good luck to James Seddon.

  • Deborah is such a dummy, of course these will sell, its better than boiling it in a dish, dishes are really outdated, we need something new like this in the modern technology era we are currently in. I normally like her but in this clip she pissed me off.

  • i got an egg cooker and trust me it save alot of time specialy in my car

yes i hook it up in my car and save time and money

  • I'm amazed that people don't see the potential here. The patent itself is highly valuable and the product if they fixed some problems would be a huge success.

  • I'm gonna exterminate those eggs.

  • "i forgot to bring eggs, spare me a few yea?"

  • Duncan(shoots the egg nerd in the leg 45 times with a nail gun):Hold him down boys!

Egg Nerd:Oh no,please no! I need the hospital and the police to report all of you,Duncan please call the police!

Theo and Petah Jones hold down the Egg Idiot while Duncan pulls down his pants.

Duncan(masterbating so fast all you see is a blur in between his legs):Oh Fuck,Dammit mate...Holy Shit!...Here comes my Vodka V8!(Duncan cums in the Egg Moron's mouth as he is crying)

    Petah cuts off his head.

  • it is a nice idea indeed...but failing to demonstrate it and claming and swearing it works is ridiculous

  • he didnt put the egg in...im out!

  • Stupid old man, he completely fucked up the pitch for a product which may have real potential.

  • whats wrong with soaking eggs in hot water?!

  • @peanutking242 you waste all that energy to heat up the water that you'll probably pour out later.

  • What an EGGCITING invention :)

  • Haha, all this time and they've yet to put them up for sale...

  • i would made battery one for camps.

  • Good product, but I think he was VERY lucky to have the offers after a failure to demonstrate. Don't think he'd get away with this on the current series.

  • I'd like some 4-minute air.

  • I'd buy one for some people for christmas.

  • no egg

  • i dont see WHY ANYBODY would need this?!?!

Takes 5+ minutes to cook 1 egg?

I can cook 5-6 eggs in 4 minutes if i do it like normal people!!!!

No fucking idead why anybody would buy it!

  • In a lot of places in Japan, you actually can't have a full stove/oven. It would be quite convenient in that case. It's also safer for younger children as there is no boiling water.

  • "you guys have a low IQ if you cant see why its useful"

So low we know how to use a pan and save £20 on another piece of crap to litter the kitchen with

  • he forgot to put the egg in the cooker... how embarassing O.o

  • O_O

  • why is this funny?

an egg cooker would be very useful - in fact i recently bought one from comet.

you guys have a low IQ if you cant see why its useful

  • this guys son goes to my school, his name is wiliam seddon

  • Ok believe it or not I've seen them in stores and they do work. The question really is, how big is the market for these things? And like a lot of youtubers mentioned, a lot of people prefer to just throw the eggs with boiling water in a pot.

Did he know his idea is too straightforward and is being stolen everywhere in the world? China have came up with a dozen different types of egg cookers sold at less than 30 yuan, less than $5 USD.

  • @j124life "China have came up with a dozen different types of egg cookers sold at less than 30 yuan, less than $5 USD"

Ha ha ha! Bless those Chinese guys and their dedication to low price!

It's not just the complexity, ideas are routinely 'borrow', for better or worse, by the factories in China that produce the 'originals', then sold for something far closer to the build price. "You exploit us, we exploit you". Companies will hire supervisors to try to prevent it happening.

  • @j124life

His product isnt being stolen. In fact, his product hasnt even launched yet.

  • Five years on and still no eggxactly egg cooker.

The yolk is on the two "entreprenueurs" who coffed up £75,000.

But I really feel sorry for Mr. Seddons daughter who could be waiting a long time for the perfect egg.

  • @osamabinladenCIA why is this funny?

an egg cooker would be very useful - in fact i recently bought one from comet.

you guys have a low IQ if you cant see why its useful

  • I just bought two plastic egg containers for £1 to cook eggs in the microwave.

It takes about 20 to 40 seconds depending on how soft you want them.

  • Why are people surprised he got offers?

You idiots would have been approached by a guy showing you something that heated up bread and turned it away thinking it useless.

The fucking thing is a toaster for eggs. Why WOULDN'T you use that instead of getting a pot, filling it with water, putting it on the stove, boiling the egg, draining the pot, eating the egg, then washing the pot.

    Use your heads people.

  • @MrHowToDoIt So true.

  • the title of this video says hilarious i think it is, is it some sort of business joke normal people wont understand?

  • Epic fail converted into epic win :-)

  • This was the first ever EDITION I had watched-back in 2006 I recall deducin that this was one of the best INNOVATIVE ideas I had ever come across. I personally would like to see the concept of a HOME-HANDWASH system or a HOME LAUNDRY-DRYIN system come to light. Who knows? Maybe in 30-40 years'time I may be able to fund such systems hehe

  • @113centrino

    Buy five of them?????

  • I eat 3 to 5 eggs a day so WTF am i gonna do with this bullshit,

  • @113centrino

Have a heart attack by 40 I would imagine.

  • I eat 3 to 5 eggs at once in the morning for the so WTF am i gonna do with this bullshit

  • Oop, hasn't cooked.

  • i'de buy one of those tbh, sounds perfect, saves alot of hassle i reckon

  • @1.21

WTF did he just do then?, must be taking some nasty drug to get a twitch like that

  • i could cook a leg of lamb before he cooks an egg

  • dude he forgot the egg, chill out. euro douchebags

  • @SuperBallashotcalla Come on it's a pretty big error. It just shows his overall lack of intelligence. Needless to say I am very impressed with this product. I think it's a good idea and can do a lot.

  • Lmao! UK dragons den is so trash! Canadas is the best!

  • @kaa10

"mine's better than yours", "mine's bigger than yours"... ner ner ner ner ner.....

How childish. Who (apart from you) cares?

  • @SunnyJim33 - Lol your just mad cuz you kno its true.

  • @kaa10 Not true, I find this one more humorous and they also compete against each other, instead of them of them all investing in the product!

  • that was krazy

  • WTF, Can't believe he got 2 offers?

  • @frayner06 my mates mum got one

  • @frayner06 You're surprised? It's genius invention. If the prototype worked every Dragon would be drooling.

  • @TheHockeyCentral

So what if it's a genius invention, i could come up with a genius invention right now but getting it to work is a different story

Also this was years ago, do you know anybody with an Egg Cooker in there house?

  • @frayner06

After the show they come together for an official meeting. Quite some of the offers made on the show were retracted because the people who ran the business either lied or couldnt live up to certain requirements or promises. So, if it turned out there were too many problems with the cooker, they could've still dropped out. Having said that, I think it's a terrible idea. I have an egg cooker at home, it's called a pot.

  • why cook one egg for 4 minutes when u can boil more than 10 eggs in 10 minutes... =S

  • @grrrindin he could always make a multi version

  • @grrrindin Why eat 10 eggs ?

  • kanada one is better

  • what season is this?

  • According to the website it can cook an egg for 1\100 of the energy it takes to cook an egg using a pan and water.

If that is true then the product is much better then it 1st appears.

  • If it worked it could be an egg cooker for an astronaut.

  • 2m 28s - absolutely HILARIOUS!!!!

  • wtf is up with this page owner trying to sell this junk??

  • i remember this ,, hahahahahha

  • did he say "running out of eggscuses?"

  • @Kalinho83 thats a really bad yoke,or should i say joke

  • @Kalinho83 no

  • @Kalinho83 Yes, and 'eggxellent'. Sigh.

  • that was egghilaratingly eggtastic.

  • @ares12790 eggselent comment

  • @Olliedfox thank you I'm eggstatic

  • It cooks a five minute egg so the quick answer was the element needed four minutes to heat up.

  • peter jones is a giant

  • o i forgot 2 put da egg in lol!

  • If he was a scam artist he should have used already boiled eggs…

  • @zidane583 Go look up the word "contradicted" clearly you don't know what it means. PA HA.

  • I failed to find the hilarity in this.

  • @zidane583 Contradicted! Ignorant you are.

  • LOL! the egg didn't cook

  • @zidane583 Ignorant American much? You idiots make us American's look bad.

  • lol hilarious

  • I fucking hate Peter Jones.

  • wow i would not invest

  • aww poor james

  • Poor guy- he really fukt up.

  • well he didn't do to bad, considering they didn't know if the technology worked and he fucked up the presentation..

  • Ha haa haha

What a clumsy man , hhhhhhhh, fumy

  • So what exactly do these Dragons have to offer other than money? I like both the UK and Canadian versions of the show but at least the Canadian Dragons each have different skills they can bring to the deal. Whether it be marketing, franchising, computer software expertise etc.

So these Dragons just give them their money and that's it?

  • if there was a working one id use it all the time

  • @unholychunk 4 sure

  • .......................................

  • The need for investors.... medieval economic archetype. Why is it, the individuals who have all of the capital, do not have a creative or technical bone in their body? This douche has to convince them on the spot. Pitiful spectacle to be a part of.

  • @FJoeForty Yes, it's kinda backwards, because money of one investor is just like the money of another, so it should be the investor who needs to explain why is he the best candidate while an inventor doesn't have much explaining to do, because the product does that.

  • @FJoeForty Actually most likely they have, since they very often started some kind of company that made them come to the place theyre at today.

  • They never asked if he had a patent on it or not.... :(

  • @Shanejulien They did ask about a patent... this is another version of this pitch.

There is another one thats longer... look on their website for it.

  • goodness gracious.....he forgot the damn egg.....someone save him

  • crook eyed presenter......

  • The guy farthest from the camera looks SO MUCH like Johan Glans from Sweden (a swedish comedian)

  • I don't care what they say, I'd buy something like this.

  • Oh my God !!I At first I was very sad for him !!

This is useful for kids and it would sell millions but the man was in such unlucky sticky situation !!

At least he got a deal but it wasn't fair actually (in case of his invention worked ).

I hope the best for this man , He looks Kind .

  • no wonder richard farleigh left. he had no taste in inventions.
