ON BEYONCE: If beyonce did anything wrong, it's screwing up her own career, cause girl-groups are notorious for putting focus on some girls than others. (eg. look at PCD, The Supremes) Beyonce screwed up with her last 2 albums by becoming excessively commercialized (taking the easy route). And then there's all the copying allegations and allegations of stealing songs etc. I bet if she had remained as artistic (and humble) as she was in D.I.L., she would have less haters and way more fans.
I think Beyonce has an equal amount of haters and fans - neither catogory is more than the other. Yes, Beyonce probably did make some really bad choices on the way up, but who doesn't? Moreover, although she is not a genuis at music like the beloved and never forgotten Michael Jackson, she is still great at what she does, and does so much to please her fan base. From the performances I have seen on Youtube, Beyonce gives more than 100% to her audience and that should account for something.

There never has been a grand live stadium album ( as in 56-66-77,000 seat shows) for one rap artist. Why??? because the shit just isn't that good. Same with most Rock acts of the last 15 years. It's not very good. Live 8 had to fall back on acts from 1985's Live Aid or nobody would've watched. Most of today's music stinks.

Kelly Rowland will always be remembered as being part of DC which was on of the best selling female groups of all time; she may have not rec. the sort of adulation, fame and money that Beyonce has, in addition never the less, that is not to say Beyonce is to blame for that. I think Beyonce has an equal amount of haters and fans - neither catogory is more than the other. Yes, Beyonce probably did make some really bad choices on the way up, but who doesn't? Moreover, although she is not a genuis at music like the beloved and never forgotten Michael Jackson, she is still great at what she does, and does so much to please her fan base. From the performances I have seen on Youtube, Beyonce gives more than 100% to her audience and that should account for something.

I mean they do put you out there but after about a year or two they forget about you. And honestly I've always gravitied towards Michelle and Kelly. But it was always planned for Beyonce to be a solo artist. That's why the original DC members left. One of them dyed her hair that same blondish color as Bey's and Tina was like no only Bey can have that color. She went to recolor the girl hair and it fell out. Now I think Kelly stayed because her and Bey were friends first. "BFF's". She probably thought they would treat her better than the rest of them. Not! "Daddy" won't even promote Solange cd! I live in Vancouver Canada and have wanted to purchase CDs from Kelly, Michelle and Solange but the stores say sold out!
I had to go to The House of Dereon to buy Solanges latest release, found the last copy of Kellys Ms. Kelly at London Drugs and I'd LOVE to have a copy's of Michelles CD but you can't find it anywhere. I have Solanges and B's because you can buy them through Dereon otherwise I wouldn't have Solange's either..?

That doesn't mean the albums are doing well. In fact angelbudder a lot of times they are not as "in demand" So they don't get reordered, in other words sold out. Unfortunately, that beautiful music that Solange wrote is barely played on the radio. Also, the whole thing just dropped of the face of the Earth once IASF was coming. They should have pushed it back to give Solange more momentum but NOOOOOO Bey just gotta be out in front.

The music business has been in a grand world of utter bullshit for the last 15 years. Hip-hop/ rap, whatever the fuck you want to call it died after Biggie. Case in point. There never has been a grand live stadium album ( as in 56-66-77,000 seat shows) for one rap artist. Why??? because the shit just isn't that good. Same with most Rock acts of the last 15 years. It's not very good. Live 8 had to fall back on acts from 1985's Live Aid or nobody would've watched. Most of today's music stinks.

Sorry, what I meant to say was: Solange was not dropped from Geffen. Geffen/Interscope was the label responsible for Solange's album - she was only on loan to the label. Geffen did a one-off deal with Music World Entertainment for Solange and wasn't interested in doing a new contract with her.

Sorry to say it but Kelly, Michelle, and Solange is wack. It aint because they don't have talent its because they wack point blank! You got other artists like Rihanna, Jazmine Sullivan, and Keri Hilson who got the hot songs and they fresh. Kelly and Michelle is old dead weight. But so is Beyonce. Only thing is she got a hot image and hot songs which keeps her going. Let's not forget the crazy promotion. If they had that they'd be able to carry on too.

they do things to try and make beyonce ahead of the other girls but when it all boils down kellys voice is more soulful than beyonce. And I notice that on kellys first album they didn't have the same people producing as they did beyonces. But what people fail to relieaze is that kellys is the one that actually brought destiny child out but when they started getting a little fame they put beyonce in the forefront. And yea Bey was good but fast forward to 2:00 and watch the REAL reason they got signed.Kelly was #1 when they started.And poppa Knowles knew that, which is why Kels career was done the way it was...out of fear she wold outshine his #1 cashcow.
