One guy at a show went back to his truck he used for scrap metal collecting and got a magnet he used for checking metals. He tried over and over and all ways, it did not work. Today I am building a totally new design, so stay tuned for new video coming soon!
No bugs are planned on being harmed in any way during this filming....but I won't guarantee what the dog does.
I think when you turn the box so the hinges are at the bottom, a mechanism inside the box moves and allows the lid to open.
That, or there's a magnet in the dog's collar. When she/he walks by, the magnet releases the latch inside the lid.
Did you keep doggie treats inside the box when you were training her to do this?

I must add here that hundreds of renfaire goers have had these IN their hands,
trying anything and everything short of a hammer to open them, and they have NEVER opened either one.
These videos are not graphically edited in ANY way, what YOU see is what faire-goers see.
No animals were harmed in any way during the production of this film...
she ate a bug, but I don't think that counts....
