love this song so beautifully describes the hurt you feel at never getting the chance to see the simple things again, like a smile or a laugh or the sunshine lighting up their face, we should never take the small moments for granted, you never know when they will be gone.

When I grow up, I'll learn to play the guitar to play and sing this to my foreigner crush...I miss him, everyday, and I am glad God blessed me with him. My girlfriend left for spain to study abroad and we broke up to give her space for her to grow and find herself. she now doesn't know if she ever wants to be in a relationship and we are single. I miss her and am scared that the love of my life, my future wife, mother of my kids, will never be mine. I wish I could tell Sarah the exact words of this song while she is abroad in Spain. We broke up so she could find herself and gain back her individuality while there. She wants space and distance to do that. I agreed.
I never realized how much I'd miss her. I never realiezd how hard it is to watch someone you love, disappear from your life. I did realize how lucky this past year has been with her. I miss her and love her...and even that isnt enough.

This song isn't just for people who died in car accidents. It's for anyone who you loved that has been lost. My grandpa for example. He gave it his all. He fought against MRSA, but sadly lost the fight. It happened today. My mom brought me his favorite little green pillow from his house for me to have. The smell alone brought tears. RIP grandpa. I love you.
