Ragnarok Online has the most unique soundtracks to it. You can see games nowadays are always trying to put some "epic" or "so-very-orchestral" soundtracks into them. I don't know, both provide different feelings, yet I still prefer RO's ones. Best soundtracks ever in online gaming!

I Really love Ro..For many reasons..first the characters are cute..the BGM's are really relaxing , though some jobs have monstrous skills..haha..:D But if ur a online gamer your life would not be complete W/o ragnarok online.;)

@MrBigfanofyours and I miss how friendly they were. Every player at the very beginning of the game was very helpful and generous. All you can see these days are only bots, cheaters, private servers, and what not. People only focus on MVP, PVP, Guild Wars, +10 items, cards.

I miss the friendship, the adventure, the story that players were deemed to write it themselves. I miss the old RO.

yeah, it reminds me of all my RO friends which i already forgot now, with RO i found friends online we were always lvl-ing up in a party, helping each other achieve their goal. this is RO my first online game ever.

RO was a grinding game if you didn't play on a private server. Still, I think back then the grinding was acceptable because the world was so rich and full of color (and great music)

@heyjeySigma Okay, but I've played plenty of MMOs and to this day nothing tops the grind in vanilla RO. Hell, even on a private server that had a 1000x experience rate I STILL felt like it took too long. Call me weak/casual/whatever if you want, but that doesn't change the fact RO had long grinds by today's standards.

I played old school EQ which was absolutely brutal in terms of grind... and even THAT didn't come close to the grind sandwich that is Ragnarok Online.

With that said, I loved the style, the atmosphere and the music. I love the game but somehow can't stand playing it, heh.

What i used to do was pump up some music, and then slaughter thousands upon thousands of Smokies and Martins in Payon Dungeon lv2 (back before they modified it), i think it took about 10,000 or so for me to reach my first second class, Crusader, but that was well worth it. =)
