lol i work with 3dmax animation 4 years and i have try lots of other programs for animation ...and it is same story ...complicated! as if it had not progressed from 1995. If Zanimation ever get out it gona replace all this shit we use now

If you look in the description of my, How to make IMVU actions From BVH to bip files in 3ds MAX and IMVU Previewer' video there is a link that has the file and over 2500 free bvh files you can download. I would use Explorer to view and download the files. Firefox freezes and does nothing if you try to us it to download the file and has a pop up that Explorer sqwishs. Let me know if get no joy

OMG!!!! Finally somebody made a really good Tutorial to work BVH into Hash Animation Master Software. People would try to make written and picture tutorials in the past. But there is nothing like a easy video deminstration. Some may think that this looks very difficult (using Poser or any other). I have did this (connecting each bone) but I see where I went wrong and it didn't work for me at the time. Now I got it!! I also use poser and Daz. However, I will not trade My hash for nothing!!

@soulmediagroup Thanks for the positive comment. I realized it was hard to make such a tutorial so I challenged myself to making one as easy as possible. I hardly use Animation Master any more and I have moved on to 3d max. And MAX does most of the hard work with MoCap once you know how to use it. I might do a how to easy lip sink in Animation Master if any one asks

Wow! looks like a lot of work, I just use Poser and Daz studio and Davedub's BVH hacker, but I guess this is what REAL animators do with rigged characters they've made themselves.

@wendyvainity Not really considering you are using 3 applications to rig your character. I hope to go through most of your videos this week end. I am still learning how to us 3d MAX for IMVU. BTW I have been on 2nd L an number of times and I can not see what all the fuss is all about. Oh and thanks for the real animator comment LOL.

@MicrosoftsourceCode I don't Rig anything LOL! just use readymade models, want to oneday, Poser has a setup room I haven't figured out yet, still a nooby, as for second life, I haven't been back since the first week I joined it,

Animation Master is a great tool to use for animation. Probably the best out there. Yeah MAYA and 3D studio are used in pro environments but many artists use animation master at home and cut their teeth in this program before becoming pros. Its worth every penny. Jeff Lew being one of the pros who started with AM.

Animation Master only costs $299.00 . I have never heard of Houdini when it comes to animation software

houdini is a software that is taking maya and 3d studio down, its currently used by disney.

Wow you can do this with Animation Master?? Crazy! So can you potentially use any video for this kind of thing? How can you convert a regular movie file into a BVH file, I wonder?

The BVH file is created by having an actor with many sensor to his body that are wired up to a computer. I am sure you must have seen this being demonstrated on TV. There is plenty of examples of motion capture and it's use on YouTube. I made the tutorial because I have not seen any Animation Master tutorials on the subject. Plus I love the challenge.

Thanks. I have meant to upload this tutorial up for a long time. Reason being I can always come back here if I need a reminder. There is software by "orbit " that will allow you to download flv files form yt. Real Player has similar software and will  convert your files
