Aye it was scally i remember when he had a co-host they would call him scally-wag, Can any one remember what saturday morning show he co-hosted? motor mouth maybe?
I loved CITV from '89 - '91, when Scally the dog presented it, alongside Jerry Foulkes (in '89) & Jeanne Downs ('90 - April '91), and seeing this again brought some fond memories! Have you got anymore old CITV continuity clips from this period? Please stick them on here...
It's always great to see CITV links from '89 - '91, as I live in Cornwall, and back then our ITV region, TSW used to often cut out CITV links so they could fit in their birthdays slot, Gus Honeybun's Magic Birthdays, which was very annoying! Cool to see the Thames break bumper btw! The Christmas 1987 footage would be cool to see though, is it with Gary Terzza & Debbie Shore?
The Road Runner cartoon is, just as I guessed, a late-period one from 1965. I never liked the last knockings of the great cartoon characters from around that period: the cartoons seemed cheaper and less inventive (in this case, surely down to the absence of Chuck Jones).
Pat Sharp's old look.

I could have sworn the dog was called Shaggy. 'Scally' rings absolutely no bells.

I'd forgot the dog's name as well. Cheers!

It's Scally. But I can understand why some people may have gotten his name confused with Shaggy.
