I'd like to see this stroker stang go up against a real hot Buick, say a 69GS with a stage 2 455 in street trim with 3.55-3.73 gears, then w'ell see who's laughing. My buddy is building a 400 stroker 351 with a hydraulic cam, auto trans, and chucking it in his 67 mustang coupe, me and him kind of have this rivalry going on seeing how i'm building a 69 Buick GS with a pretty tame 455. He has a bit of a weight advantage, but i've got a big torque advantage too. I don't think his is a cleveland.

@69buick350 Your buddy with the 67' Stang would still have a stronger Power to Weigh Ratio over your 69GS even you have a 455 with more TQ. I have seen a guy on here with a mid 80's Mustang with a built 351W totally own over a 502 BBC Camaro , Because the Mustang had a stronger power to weigh ratio.

eh.. thats alot of power lol. but seems a bit unrealistic with an 88mm turbo on a 408 cube motor... but then again maybe possible with some nitrous lol... and lots of compression

Read the info. Its a stroker. They make 393 and 408 stroker kits for the 351 Cleveland.

thats a real shortrod engine that makes great torque and enough cubes to take adventage of those heads , i bet that mutha slams you back in the seat, i was gonna build a 393c but a friend ofered me a great deal on a w ford racing block,i street raced a 73 4speed M1 stang with a mild 351c and kicked ass & took names ,12.11 w/street tires & 3.70 locker , best small block ever made !! also 69-70 BOSS 302, my dad had a 69 ! race a 65 fastback now ! 1000 pounds lighter than the 73 M1

oh u gotta love the clevelands... the heads make lots of power for their size and flow rating... which is kind of unexpected .. but eh.. its easy to make 500-600 horses w/ factory iron with just a valve job lol...

427-460 cubes would DEF make these heads work wonder with a good port job.. ive heard without filling the ports.. 325 intake/ 235 cfm exhaust... not bad

but eh.. iron.. cant really cheat pump gas =\
