What's more interesting... is that they don't mention the "santa claus" from the eastern coutries... they celebrate with a krampus, a demonic goat looking being who whips children who are bad and takes them away from their parents. Look it up if you don't believe me, plenty of videos of this celebration.
This is all paganism, none of it has to do with Jesus... and parents think it's okay to lie to their children when they trust their every word like gold. Praise God for repentance below!
@droptozro We had an awesome Krampus party this year. The guys is demon outfits, the girls in sexy devil costumes. I dressed as St. Nick. The Krampus parades are beautiful. First the Krampus stomp through causing mischief then at the end come St. Nicholas glowing with light. This represents the light conquering the dark which has always been the underlining meaning of this time of year
That's interesting! As far as the "number of the Beast", It's funny, but I recently prayed about this ... that God might show me this. Then your comment came to me. It (666) must symbolize earthly saviors, man made, man thought up ect... technology ect... anything that you rely on for salvation and preservation of the flesh. Hard to describe my thoughts in a paragraph. We need to accept the marks of a true Christian. NOT THE MARKS OF AN EARTHLY HUMAN. Marks of a true Christian are in Rom 12.
@BowserKod....My research comes from studying God's word (that's the bible son). ANYTHING that takes away from real meaning of Christmas is satanic. JESUS IS THE REASON FOR THE SEASON! Not satanclause. Ok there little man?
Good Grief. I would hate if Jessica Simpson were to lie to me. Christmas is all about Santa. Ask any child on the holidays what they look forward to on Dec 25th. Who do we blame. A bunch of lying grown up that make us as children to behave for xmas. Or better yet Easter. Yea, lets color eggs, hide them, then look for them? I do not understand bashing a child's imagination. But, I guess no one is aloud to make people wish or dream. Devil's work. Let us start an Inquisition and root it out.
You don't get "child-like faith" from Santa, you get it from Carlos Santana. Also, I think you are missing the point of the ad. There was a letter written by a little girl named Virginia to a newspaper asking if there was really a Santa Claus. You should Google the letter and read it. You are choosing to be offended here. No harm was meant by this ad. No person was trying to take Jesus out of the equation. Please read the letter. By the way, is this my brother, Rick?
@Unclenick2012 You atheist are fond of saying "extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence" Then provide proof and evidence that atheism is accurate and correct. Also, prove Jesus Christ never existed.
Santa (which is satan with the letters switched around) was invented to slowly take Jesus out of Christmas. He even has a red suit. The horns are probably under the hat.
He is opposite of everything our Savior is. God said no man is good except he has the gift of salvation through Christ. Santa says if your good you get gifts. Salvation through Christ is the greatest gift of all, good or bad. If we surrender our lives to Christ the Savior He gives us the gift of salvation. Amen.
@TruckerJeff2009 Actually, you're a complete idiot. Allow me to explain:
Santa has NOTHING to do with satan. Santa is spanish for 'saint'. If you would do your research and read (I know, that is probably a stretch) you would find out that the Santa we know today comes from 3 places: 1. Nicholas of Parara (later named Bishop of Myra). He helped write the NT. 2. The Pagan god Woden, who had a long, white beard and rode a horse through the heavens one evening each Autumn. (cont).
@TruckerJeff2009 3. In 1931, The Coca-Cola Coporation was in a financial crisis. They needed to do something to get the business back up and running. So they took the Santa that was adopted from the previous 2 places, gave him a red suit (color of the Coca-Cola can), and made him look happy. As for jesus being the son of god, that is all a matter of strong personal opinion on your part. You can't prove it is real. What about religions older than christianity that are identical to your religion?
@TruckerJeff2009 So Jeff (and every other christian who THINKS they know it all because the church said so), please PLEASE do your research before posting something..
Amen! I couldn't agree more! We never LIED to our children about santa, we have never put up a tree, only a manger scene. Tell your children the truth, don't lie to them. Let them celebrate the TRUE meaning of CHRISTmas!
@colleenk52 Actually, the "X" in "Xmas" is not Xing out Christ.. The "X" in "Xmas" represents the Greek letter chi, which is the initial letter of Christos - the Greek for Christ. Please research something before you believe it...
@TheRandification you know "Christmas" and all its traditions were pagan, celebrating the winter solstice and Christians apporpriated it to make converting more tolerable right? Also, the world doesn't evolve around Santa or Jesus Christ or a god, it evolves around money whether you like it or not.
I think it's laughable how some people reject the Santa character in favor of another mythical character like Jesus. What difference does it make? Neither one is real; both are fairytales. Most people are like kids, they just believe whatever their parents tell them.
We lie to our children about Santa for the same reason we lie to adults about Jesus. It's a way to make them behave how you want them to.
So the lesson isn't that Santa is an anti-Christ, or that Santa is replacing Jesus, but that BOTH are myths. The difference is, most kids grow up and realize their lie. But a lot of adults fail to do the same for their lie.
I think about the untold allowable suffering, and all the pain, and all the heartache, and the regret and remorse, and the horrors and violence that can not be imagined and so much more that this earth has seen since the first man walked!!! I can not think for one moment that God doesn't have a place prepared for eternal torment, weeping and gnashing of teeth. Hell by all reason has to exist.
Romans 5 answers this question: Vs 6 For while we were still weak, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. 7 For one will scarcely die for a righteous person—though perhaps for a good person one would dare even to die— 8 but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. 9 Since, therefore, we have now been justified by his blood, much more shall we be saved by him from the wrath of God.
10 For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, now that we are reconciled, shall we be saved by his life. 11 More than that, we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation.12 Therefore, just as sin came into the world through one man, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men because all sinned—
13 for sin indeed was in the world before the law was given, but sin is not counted where there is no law. 14 Yet death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over those whose sinning was not like the transgression of Adam, who was a type of the one who was to come.15 But the free gift is not like the trespass. For if many died through one man's trespass, much more have the grace of God and the free gift by the grace of that one man Jesus Christ abounded for many.
16 And the free gift is not like the result of that one man's sin. For the judgment following one trespass brought condemnation, but the free gift following many trespasses brought justification. 17 For if, because of one man's trespass, death reigned through that one man, much more will those who receive the abundance of grace and the free gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man Jesus Christ.
Jesus brings salvation to those who believe in Him and obey the right and proper way to live. It is God's way that the world hates. God sends out this "olive branch" to mankind. Then mankind mocks God's way of perfection and devises it's own form of righteousness. I ask, what man has come up with a more perfect way to conduct ones self? None! It took God's Son to show us perfection. God gets all the glory for showing us the way back to Him!
@1260days hmmm for one... There is no reason for me to believe there is a god... you sound like one of those extremist christians so set in their beliefs they wont listen to reason... but it seems to me if there was a god... he just kills anyone who disobeys anyways
God is love but He is also 100% fair and just. He opens the door to Him by Jesus. Te reconcile us to Him even though we where enemies to Him. If we deny this love, God is fair. @1260days if your god is so fair and just, why does he create people who will be enemies to him, thus they must be sent to hell if God is real? And if he has some great master-plan then why would he put it in his plan for there to be people to stand against him? So either there is no god, or god is a cruel being that torments humanity with cruel games

The worst thing Santa does is put coal in a stocking. The worst thing Jesus does is send people to hell for all eternity for something as minor as not believing he exists. Of course, there's no evidence that either exists. And just as adults know Santa doesn't really exist, atheists know Jesus doesn't really exist. There's really no difference between them (well, except for the eternal torture part).
See my "Comparing Jesus and Santa" video for more detail.
Well this christmas thing could celebrate santa as their god as christmas is a pagan holiday, because no one knows the exact date and time jesus was born. So why do christans, go figure it out yourself and do some reasearch I don't want to type all the info I have.
Jesus has the best ending! He is Lord of lord and King of kings! He is our Redeemer and through Him I live! He gets all the glory for what I do for Him!
You know the funny thing is .when kids have this all figured out there is No! Santa .The parents tend to just shrug Christ off .How many parents will tell of Jesus's Birth. Then ask yourself why Liitle Tommy or Jill is not Being taught the real thrill intead of ''If he gets this I want that
Your an extremest. Christmas wasn't even Jesus's birthday, It was an estimated date. Santa is a way to keep kids in line, much like religion. They are still to young to come to a conclusion about faith. Religious people follow the words of the bible and it keeps the majority of society in line. This majority is the one that could not live without this guidance. I am an atheist, I do not believe in god nor do i believe Christ possessed these unbelievable "powers". Santa is a mini Jesus.
You said "Having faith in Christ and having faith in Santa... One is real. One is fake. ...We can not lie to our children about Santa and later expect them to believe us when we tell them about God's love manifest in Jesus Christ!"
Given that you believe in Jesus, I appreciate your concern about the use of Santa for supposedly religious purposes when "he" is really just a cute salesman. You do realize, though, that to those of us who are not Christians, Christ is equally unbelievable?
But Christians DO have a child-like faith in Jesus, and children have a child-like faith in Santa. Faith... I think there is enough child-like faith to go around with the state of humanity these days.
Having faith in Christ and having faith in Santa... One is real. One is fake. One performs miracles in hearts still today! One fakes miracles and himself alone takes the glory. One gives the gift of life. The other gives gifts that perish. We can not lie to our children about Santa and later expect them to believe us when we tell them about God's love manifest in Jesus Christ!
"Religion"... it's what has tainted, stained and misled Christians for 2000 years! Reading, studying and living the "Gospel" message (which is the message Jesus, the Christ... taught us to live. This is true worship. Not wars, greed, pride, forcefulness, self centered and all such things. In the Christian realm, many have replaced the righteousness of Jesus with other holiday events, people, folk heroes ext... They replace Christ with an "X" and keep the "mass". Mass=religion.
you brought up one of my big pet peeves, Brother Mark! I have many believing friends that still refuse to let this go. They say "oh, it won't hurt anything" and "it's for the children" What dillusion! what a lack of willingness in Christians to seperate from the world! It really does have people addicted. Blessings to you
You say there is no proof of Jesus. Do you have proof of George Washingtons life? History is our proof and if you will check the history of Jesus or the Bible maybe you will find proof.
There are none so blind as those who refuse to see!
your kidding i hope.you do realize that the bible is the one and only book that talks about the life of jesus.surely someone who supposedly saved the world would have got more recognition than just one book.and may i add it was written 6 to 7 decades after his supposedly death
So one might think; check it Leonard; the Kingdom of God, the Bible, the True Christian Faith is "Spiritually understood" If you really want to know, ask God sincerely to open your Spiritual eyes and ears; God will reveal Himself to you; it will be so convincing that no proof will be needed! Let's call this a challenge how about it?
Here in Czech republic brings little Jesus (Jezisek) all gift to our children and thats Czechoslovak tradition for hundred of years. Santa Claus only brings only Coca-Colas. We respect that redwhite old man is favourit in US and many other countries, but we really dont like him in my country. But nowadays red Santa is everywhere, in many shops and tvs. But we believe we will keep our tradition of "Ježíšek" and we will fight against Santa.
I hear more and more people saying Jesus is just like every other god, ie 'the sun god' because Jesus is celebrated with every other god on December 25th (winter solstice) and on Easter. The fact these false Holy Days (as opposed to the ones given in scripture) are causing non-believers to stumble is enough for me to celebrate Jesus birth on any other day. The early church specifically did not celebrate winter solstice for this reason. Tertullian.
I find myself wondering if I should bring anymore children into this evil world!
Christ is not the reason for the season either. It is believed by respected historians/bible scholars that Jesus was not born on or even close to Dec. 25th. You didn't say it in your video, at least not directly, but telling someone that Christmas day is about Christ is a lie or at best an uncertain truth. Christmas stems from pagan gods and traditions. Check out this video: watch?v=brCbIv9JCa8
Yes, I agree. But many Christians celebrate that day in remembrance of the birth of Jesus. I do not feel it is a sin to celebrate His birth on the 25th of Dec. or the 1st Sunday of July. It's a person's heart that God sees. Ya, there is a lot of pagan stuff in Christmas decorations...Man sees certain dates, racial differences, human stature ect... Satan has always found a way to use man to divide and accuse ect... Christ's church is NOT divided. God bless ya!
BOX5500 is right and you just can't have it both ways. Now that you know the truth you must decide what you are really doing. Celebrating Christmas on the 25th is paganism and I have read your comment over and over again trying to see the faith but I only hear... I know it's wrong ( Ya, there is a lot of pagan stuff in Christmas decorations) but, I'm not ready to give git all up. There is only one choice in life - rightousness, or everything else.
Most "Christians", especially ones with kids, will never give up their favorite holiday; they will never listen to the facts cause it's become an Addiction!!!
Real "Christians" will give up anything there master tells them to. My husband and I did, and I have two young boys who have grandparents and family that still celebrate it. Best thing we've ever done. Although it didn't start off easy and we both were not on the same page...God is faithful. We didn't just stop celebrating Christmas, but ALL other man made holidays. We celebrate Christ's birth, death, and resurrection everyday of the year. Giving is year round in this family.
You seem very well balanced about it all and you surely know as i do that there are areas of obedience that are far more crucial to the Kingdom than this plus I don't want to be a Christian who is only known for what he is against! His Peace be upon you
Exactly! I have given this day up along with all the other days that were built on lies. Babylon is fallen, is fallen; and her fornication and nakedness is being exposed.
Our Father is exposing the lies to His children that we not partake in her sins.
"And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH."
Brothers & Sisters Come out of her and her children, and walk with your King in Truth!
Mystery Babylon, great topic in itself. Your on the right track. Babylon: It's not some country in the middle east. Read Jer.50:8-20 very closely. Mystery Babylon is revealed if we can stomach it. here is a clue... Nation(s)(plural)= people of the world ...Nation=God's people...Mother=nations... A half gospel or even in some churches no gospel=teachings of the world. Are we held captive by the false teachers?
You are correct when you say "if we can stomach it". People don't want to admit that the whore has harlet daughters.
People think it will be some beast (That is clear to see) that will decieve everyone, but nobody ever considers the fact that this great work of satan may have already been done and is being done. Do we really think it will be only one generation that is put to this great test?
"And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name."Rev
"Buy the truth, and sell it not; also wisdom, and instruction, and understanding." Prov 23:23
"counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich;"Rev
"Ho,every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money;come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price."Isiah
So assuming that this is true "no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark".
I'm only thinking out loud here but could this be the dark ages (500AD-1500AD) where the great whore banned the scriptures?
And if that is true it brings new light to many church teachings on this book. I just don't think that all of Revelation will happen in one generation or "7 year period". This book was given and was not sealed because the times were at hand. Just a thought.
(Rev)...These things are very spiritual in their understandings. They can not be seen without the Holy Spirit revealing it. The info IS sealed till the proper time. Your right. People buy and sell God's message, good news ect and make a physical tangible profit from it. This is evidence against them. Is it the mark? Well it is a mark 4 shore! We all received grace with out being charged a price. We were bought with a price! We are servants to God as we walk in righteousness.
What's more interesting... is that they don't mention the "santa claus" from the eastern coutries... they celebrate with a krampus, a demonic goat looking being who whips children who are bad and takes them away from their parents. Jesus is what Christmas is all about!
God Bless you brother.

Yes.
1260days 2 years ago
But Christians DO have a child-like faith in Jesus, and children have a child-like faith in Santa. Faith... I think there is enough child-like faith to go around with the state of humanity these days.

Having faith in Christ and having faith in Santa... One is real. One is fake. One performs miracles in hearts still today! One fakes miracles and himself alone takes the glory. One gives the gift of life. The other gives gifts that perish. We can not lie to our children about Santa and later expect them to believe us when we tell them about God's love manifest in Jesus Christ!

aww poor Christian got his feelings hurt because Santa is more believable than his ignorant Christ story.

wth is wrong with you people its just for the kids comon not every thing has to have religion in it

The Holy Spirit kept throwing Jeremiah 10 in my face until I finally opened up my Bible and actually read it.
My jaw dropped.
Then I got on my knees and begged His forgiveness.
It's THAT clear in Scripture!!

you brought up one of my big pet peeves, Brother Mark! I have many believing friends that still refuse to let this go. They say "oh, it won't hurt anything" and "it's for the children" What dillusion! what a lack of willingness in Christians to seperate from the world! It really does have people addicted. Blessings to you

Glad someone besides me believes this; but try and get folks to give up celebrating this farce; they'll fight over it like the virgin birth!

This comment has received too many negative votes show
the truth is santa and jesus are both fictional characters and nothing more.there is no proof for either one of them
leonardj1 3 years ago
You say there is no proof of Jesus. Do you have proof of George Washingtons life? History is our proof and if you will check the history of Jesus or the Bible maybe you will find proof.
There are none so blind as those who refuse to see!
billnjune 3 years ago 2
your kidding i hope.you do realize that the bible is the one and only book that talks about the life of jesus.surely someone who supposedly saved the world would have got more recognition than just one book.and may i add it was written 6 to 7 decades after his supposedly death
leonardj1 3 years ago

1260days 3 years ago
BOX5500 is right and you just can't have it both ways. Now that you know the truth you must decide what you are really doing. Celebrating Christmas on the 25th is paganism and I have read your comment over and over again trying to see the faith but I only hear... I know it's wrong ( Ya, there is a lot of pagan stuff in Christmas decorations) but, I'm not ready to give git all up. There is only one choice in life - rightousness, or everything else.
GOD Bless You.

Most "Christians", especially ones with kids, will never give up their favorite holiday; they will never listen to the facts cause it's become an Addiction!!!
KingdomUploader 3 years ago
Real "Christians" will give up anything there master tells them to. My husband and I did, and I have two young boys who have grandparents and family that still celebrate it. Best thing we've ever done. Although it didn't start off easy and we both were not on the same page...God is faithful. We didn't just stop celebrating Christmas, but ALL other man made holidays. We celebrate Christ's birth, death, and resurrection everyday of the year. Giving is year round in this family.

Hi!

Brothers & Sisters Come out of her and her children, and walk with your King in Truth!
faxchase 3 years ago 2
Mystery Babylon, great topic in itself. Your on the right track. Babylon: It's not some country in the middle east. Read Jer.50:8-20 very closely. Mystery Babylon is revealed if we can stomach it. here is a clue... Nation(s)(plural)= people of the world ...Nation=God's people...Mother=nations... A half gospel or even in some churches no gospel=teachings of the world. Are we held captive by the false teachers?
1260days 3 years ago
Thanks for that.
You are correct when you say "if we can stomach it". People don't want to admit that the whore has harlet daughters.
People think it will be some beast (That is clear to see) that will decieve everyone, but nobody ever considers the fact that this great work of satan may have already been done and is being done. Do we really think it will be only one generation that is put to this great test?
more to follow.
faxchase 3 years ago
"And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name."Rev
"Buy the truth, and sell it not; also wisdom, and instruction, and understanding." Prov 23:23
"counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich;"Rev
"Ho,every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money;come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price."Isiah
The "mark" of the beast.
faxchase 3 years ago
So assuming that this is true "no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark".
I'm only thinking out loud here but could this be the dark ages (500AD-1500AD) where the great whore banned the scriptures?
And if that is true it brings new light to many church teachings on this book. I just don't think that all of Revelation will happen in one generation or "7 year period". This book was given and was not sealed because the times were at hand. Just a thought.
faxchase 3 years ago
(Rev)...These things are very spiritual in their understandings. They can not be seen without the Holy Spirit revealing it. The info IS sealed till the proper time. Your right. People buy and sell God's message, good news ect and make a physical tangible profit from it. This is evidence against them. Is it the mark? Well it is a mark 4 shore! We all received grace with out being charged a price. We were bought with a price! We are servants to God as we walk in righteousness.
