  • are you playing this on difficult? because i only played it on normal and ... well i just noticed that stacked up enemy which just falls apart instead of disappearing

  • No, as I was playing on the Easy difficulty on the PlayStation 2 version of the Mega Man Anniversary Collection. Regardless of playing on either the Easy or Normal difficulty settings for the compliation, Mega Man 2 on it can act more like the Difficult setting of the original NES version, meaning that Metal Man can't be killed in one hit by the Metal Blade and enemies can act tougher (seemingly like the column enemy, which might've had an official name, you've mentioned in your comment).

  • What version of Mega Man 2 is this ? this is looking good....

  • This is from the PlayStation 2 version of the Mega Man Anniversary Collection. The game is shown with the Navi Mode feature turned on (which allows a hint system, enhanced health and weapon bars, and remix music for most tracks of Mega Man 1-6 for the Xbox and PlayStation 2 versions) in this video.

  • i think that mega man 1-7 should be on XBLA, PSN and VC. Mega man 9 and 10 were awesome.

  • roll wasnt in MM2...?

  • This is way different music than the gamecube mega man collection. There is no difference between the nes versions and the gc collection version. Sad that the ps2 changed the music.

  • @RKOREDUX , this music wasn't playing when i played through on the ps2 collection, i think its just what style u choose, the new/help or the original (which is what i played).

  • dude you can walk on those metal claws at the beginning

  • No you can't

  • Can you tell me how i can make video like that is there any program that will allow me to save screen on computer like video.

I would love to make some videos for youtube

  • That depends on what source you want to record your videos from. If you were to capture from downloaded ROM emulation, one program usable to do so is FRAPS, which could be downloaded from the respective website. For capturing from a actual console, hook-up devices (such as capture cards) and programs like Dazzle, the "Capture Video" feature in Windows Movie Maker, and Muvee autoProducer would be required. You can research for the best method for your preference around the Internet.

  • Yes i want record from downloaded ROM emulation

Thank you you are really help

  • You're very welcome. Good luck on your video recordings.

  • Hah I forgot they revamped the music for the robot select and the boss's.

I just finished my remix for Metalman and will be putting up soon.

  • Megaman Anniversary doesn't have the charm like the old NES cartridges

  • The music doesn't sound the same like it used to

  • Well, the end music doesn't sound the same, but the stage music is the same.

  • @ChaoticRenegade1 That's because on MMAC, when you switch to Navi Mode, you get remixes of a lot of the music.

  • I can remember almost losing to Metal Man over a decade ago but that was on the NES. Doubt you could do that on the PS2.

  • This could be especially true if the rapid fire feature were used against him and easy mode was set from the collection, but otherwise he's about the same difficulty as he was in the NES original game (but the compliation acts as if Mega Man 2 is always set on the Normal difficulty, so Metal Man can't be killed with a single hit from the Metal Blade weapon in it).

  • I rate you a D+ for not actually dying in this gruesome runthrough..

  • The best weapon to destroy Metal Man is the Metal Blade. You can only use that technique when you're already at Dr. Wily's "Dungeon of Mecha Doom" stage.

  • This was my fav but wheres the remix?

  • There isn't any remix music available for Metal Man's stage. I've explained this to the user named SimDaddy above.

  • As much as I love Mega man 2 and the metal man music... as a gamer I found it painful that you had to use an energy tank against metal man.

  • I like Metal Man's theme and all, but it shoulda been remixed.....=/

  • See... Mega man 2 is one of those game where it doesn't NEED a remix to be good. Sure, the ones that are remixed are nice, but I still prefer the old ones.

  • I Love the Soundtrack from Metal man!

  • Thank you for posting these great videos from the Anniversary Collection!

I'm wondering if you have a video with the remixed music from Metal Man's stage.

  • There isn't any remix music available for Metal Man's stage in Mega Man Anniversary Collection, at least for the PlayStation 2. This stage was one of the several tracks left unremix among those in Mega Man, Mega Man 2, and Mega Man 3 in the compliation.

  • Thank you for the information, friend! I suspected as much, but didn't think Capcom would leave a job unfinished.

Thanks again for the answer. Much appreciated.

  • You're welcome. Keep in mind that the game compliation itself was developed by Atomic Planet. It is suspected that some of the stages were left unremix for the reason to save space on the disc. Also, the GameCube version has no remixed tracks available for any of the NES Mega Man games included.
