Is the budget really $150 Million? My god no Star Trek Movie has ever cost that much to make. I mean if you listen to the Star Trek IV commentary Shatner said by that time the studio knew how much a Star Trek movie would which was usually around $70 Million. To this day the best performance of a Star Trek movie is Star Trek IV I can't believe they gave this movie that big of a budget.

Being a fan from watching the original series when the episodes were first shown, I hope the film does well. But, after the "Enterprise" experience and the last two "Next Gen" movies that were lacking, I would hope Paramount would have learned that Trek fans want the franchise to go forward, not backward, in time.
