I have almost 15,000 songs right now. I found nearly every song ive ever looked for on zune pass and what did all of this music cost me? about 10 bucks as opposed to 15,000 dollars through itunes.

the zune has that nice screen (large, glass) and the audio/video quality is superb. biggest deciding factor for me, was that, when using the ipod, the click wheel was so unresponsive that it was a pain to use. also when scrolling even medium sized lists, the ipod lagged like hell and was very annoying.

You know, IMO the problem with the iPod Classic is that they should have considered making the screen much bigger. They gave way too much space to the scrolling wheel and unused space.

I had an old Ipod mini that broke on me about 4 times in a year... II got the 1st generation zune and I have had it for 3-4 years now, constant abuse and it still works perfectly. It just finally gave in and the screen cracked after I dropped it FLAT on its face (accident), I think it held up pretty strong regardless! I'm upgrading to a Zune 120 now and im never straying from Zune

Actually my zune can do 720x480 and 720x576, which is considered 480p/576p also it works great with my xbox360. Please, I would choose 120gb over 8gb, a web surf feature (BTW Wi-fi surfing is shit), some shitty apps, and a non-responsive touch screen. I think the zune is great, I was sharing music with my buddie in class. It kicks ass. This is fact look it up, don't go telling me the zune can not do 480p becuase I just converted a whole season of my favorite show.Zune actually tell you the res.

The zune is more responisive? I messed with a zune for the 1sty time yuesterday. I barely rubnbed the scroll down and it slid allll the way down, so i slowly slide it upwars and it slid all the way up, little things like these make the ipod the winner in my book. Its just not cheaply made.

2) The Zune is priced the same as the direct competitor the iPod Classic. The iPod nano is a new device. You should try comparing the 80g Zune to the 80g iPod. An 80g zune would even cost less than a new 16g zune. Compare directly, not randomly.

3) Sending music and pics is overrated when NO one has a Zune. Apple owns 80% of the PMP market. iPod can hook to 360 too
