There are many day of the Lord's, Mal.4 is probably 70AD, when the righteous escaped the destruction of Jerusalem and all the Sabbath Keepers who were destroyed for Murdering Christ and the Apostles, as Christ predicted. It is ABSOLUTELY clear by Josesphus that the Pharisees and Christ be taught eternal torment in hell. And, the Christ used the exact same language, words and rabbinical terminology to mean PRECISELY EVERLASTING TORMENT IN HELL.
On Malachi 4, I find it difficult to apply 70 AD to it. The passage is very specific about the annihilation of the wicked. One note, the early Christians were all Sabbath keepers, as were Adam and Eve, and all the Patriarchs, before there ever was a Jew.

Of Abraham it is said in Gen 26:5 "because Abraham obeyed My voice and kept My charge, My commandments, My statutes, and My laws." This passage is indicative that God's laws, statutes, and commandments were known and kept by him. The Sabbath is part of creation, in fact it is the only reason that we have a seven day weekly cycle. That cycle is not supported by any other natural phenomena.

@EricSaavy What stupidity it is, to say that Christ so loved the world, he gave his only Son to be crucified to save men from dying like a roach or a squashed bug as the SDA teaches. To "perish" is to loose out on the endless joy and peace in the eternal fellowship with God, which is the opposite of "eternal life". As to what was the standard teaching of the Jews in Christs day, there is much disagreement about that. The Pharisees believed in the ressurrection, while the Saducees did not.
The True Sabbath is at sundown Friday to sundown Saturday and Yeshua (christ) obeyed this law. Also the Hebrews became Jews while on the 2nd Diaspora in Babylon.
The Sabbath was created long before their was any Jews, so how can the Sabbath be Jewish? Remember the Jewish nation came about when Jacob name was changed to Israel, so how can it be just for one nation? Can someone explain to me when was this change become effective?
"Sabbath" is not used until Exodus. Before then, it is simply the 7th day. Sabbath keeping is not commanded to anyone until Exodus 16. God and Moses only command the JEWS and those who became Jews by circumcision of the flesh and a vow to keep the entire 613 commandments to keep the Sabbath. God never commands Chinese, Japanese, GENTLES to keep the old covenant made the Jews. acts 15, shows Gentile Christians are entirely free from the Sabbath and other Jewish ritual.
If Gentiles were obligated to keep the Sabbath, the prophet Daniel would have preached the Sabbath day to Babylon. He did no such thing and neither did any of the other prophets while Israel was in captivity. Not a single prophet, from Moses to Christ taught the Gentiles were obligated to keep the Sabbath Day. Neither Did Christ preach the Sabbath to Gentiles. And, the Apostles didn't teach the Sabbath Day to the Gentiles either. They condemned those who did in Acts 15, Col.2, Galatians.etc.

The day of preparation was for preparing food to eat on the Sabbath day, like the manna that fell 2x as much on the 6th in Exodus. However, God killed the Jew who picked up manna on the Sabbath.

And other than Lev 23:3 all those feasts and sabbaths had to do with the Sanctuary and the Jewish year for sacrifice and cleansing the Sanctuary on the Day of Atonement. I keep the 10 commandments including the forth and when I fall I rely on God's love, mercy, grace and forgiveness. it's not just any saturday, in fact, it is the the day after the new crescent sliver moon. We've been deceived in observing the julian calendar, as opposed to the lunar-soli calendar that muslims and jews believe(d). There are ways to ascertain this if you are unsure, as myself, being raised roman catholic, who now 'comes out of her' so to speak. It might not always follow on a saturday, as a result.

God is a very specific God and if He kept the Sabbath and commanded that we do the same, there is no way we can call God petty for that. I've seen hundreds of Sabbath Videos, but nowhere does the ten commandments prescribe a Saturday Worship, nowhere! Since there is no day actually called the Sabbath Day, but rather the day of the Sabbath (7th day). It doesn't matter what day of the week you deem it to be. Its based upon the calendar you keep. The church merely incorporated the Sabbath commandment into the Lord's Day (Sunday), nothing biblical wrong with that.
The week has not changed since the beginning of recorded history. The seventh day has always been saturday. Read Constantine's Council of Nicea canons dealing with "Judaizing". It shows that "Sun" day was Roman practice of worshipping "Sol Invictus" the day of the sun paying homage to Babylonian sun worship of Nimrod. Hence "Sunday Keeping" is actually sun worship which is Pagan and completely unbiblical. Because it was instituted by the Roman Church "The Beast", it is the mark of the Beast.
There are 20 canons from the council of Nicea, I've found none dealing with "Judaizing". Constantine had no vote at the council. It was held to discuss the deity of Christ, and to set the day of the Lord's resurrection. The Jewish calendars were numerous and unreliable, so a lunar calendar was adopted. Sunday is simply an anglo word; most Christian countries use the Lord's day on their calendar which coincides with our Sunday. This occured centuries before Constantine took power.

We should obey God rather than man. REMEMBER the Sabbath Day to keep it holy. God worked to create the world and us 6 days, but he RESTED on the 7th day. He hallowed (set apart) the 7th day. It is the ONLY day that God set apart to be different.
There is stil actually no day called the Sabbath day, only the day of the Sabbath. Why is that important? because the day of the Sabbath doesn't stand alone, it's predicated on the 7th day that's predicated on 6 days labor. If God actually named a "day" the Sabbath day, then we would absolutely have to observe it on that day. He chose not to so we wouldn't serve the created instead of the creator. He also created a safety net by demanding cessation so that no worship of the day would occur.
Jesus said come all to me who are heavy burdened and I will give you sabbath (rest), He gives sabbath because he is the creator not stone tablets that are created. They were a shadow of the true substance-Christ.
Isaiah 66:23 speaking of the New Earth after Christ comes: "from one Sabbath to another shall all flesh come worship before Me, saith the Lord." It's at least enduring until the New Earth.
1 Sabbath to another came to mean 1 week to another as a reckoning of time. In the New Testament the word Sabbath is frequently translated week. Look it up!
"But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the Sabbath." Matthew 24:20 Christ spoke of the destruction of Jerusalem, 40 years after His death and the prophecy of the end times. Here He identified Sabbath to be at least as enduring as winter and end times. If it truly doesn't matter what day, then out of love for God, why would we not WANT to just choose the only day He specified? I'd do more than that for someone here on earth if they asked me to meet them a certain day.
To know what Jesus meant by that statement, read the book of Macabees where a jewish sect in the wilderness refused to fight on the Sabbath, and were slaughtered. What he was telling the people was pray that this doesn't occur again when you're least prepared. Besides, we don't know if he was speaking of a floating or fixed Sabbath.
For as the NEW HEAVENS and the NEW EARTH, which "I WILL MAKE", shall remain before me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain. And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from ONE SABBATH TO ANOTHER, shall ALL FLESH come to WORSHIP before ME, "saith" the LORD.
That does not sound like a "shadow" to me!!!!

I guess people don't read in 1st and 2nd john how if U love God U will keep my commandments. Even the Gentiles in Acts wanted to b taught in the synagog on the sabbath.And my dad was a catholic and yes I have read the catachism where thay changed the Sabbath to sunday. But most people would rather follow tradition. only a few will enter intp rest w/jesus. As for me I studied for myself I want to do what God wants not man.

There are many day of the Lord's, Mal.4 is probably 70AD, when the righteous escaped the destruction of Jerusalem and all the Sabbath Keepers who were destroyed for Murdering Christ and the Apostles, as Christ predicted. It is ABSOLUTELY clear by Josesphus that the Pharisees and Christ be taught eternal torment in hell. And, the Christ used the exact same language, words and rabbinical terminology to mean PRECISELY EVERLASTING TORMENT IN HELL.

On Malachi 4, I find it difficult to apply 70 AD to it. The passage is very specific about the annihilation of the wicked. One note, the early Christians were all Sabbath keepers, as were Adam and Eve, and all the Patriarchs, before there ever was a Jew.

Nor, is there any evidence that Enoch, Noah, Abraham, Issac or Jacob, even Joseph, who ruled Egypt ever kept the Sabbath. Of Abraham it is said in Gen 26:5 "because Abraham obeyed My voice and kept My charge, My commandments, My statutes, and My laws." This passage is indicative that God's laws, statutes, and commandments were known and kept by him. The Sabbath is part of creation, in fact it is the only reason that we have a seven day weekly cycle. That cycle is not supported by any other natural phenomena.

Eze. 18:4,20 He says "the soul who sins shall die". Take what is probably the most well known yet least understood bible text John 3:16 "For God so loved ... that whoever believes in Him should not PERISH but have everlasting life."

To "live" means an endless quality of joy and peace in fellowship with God. @EricSaavy What stupidity it is, to say that Christ so loved the world, he gave his only Son to be crucified to save men from dying like a roach or a squashed bug as the SDA teaches. To "perish" is to loose out on the endless joy and peace in the eternal fellowship with God, which is the opposite of "eternal life". Thus, the comparison which Christ makes is everlasting life in joy in peace verses everlasting pain and suffering in the darkness of hell, like Jude 13.

Mark 2:27,28 Jesus states that the Sabbath was made for man. The 4th commandment states that it is because of Gods creatorship that we are to remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy. Isaiah states that we will keep the Sabbath in the new earth as well. The Sabbath was before sin and it will be after sin as well.

They accused Him and His disciples of breaking the Sabbath, based on the Rabbinical laws of the Mishna, not the Torah. "Sabbath" is not used until Exodus. Before then, it is simply the 7th day. Sabbath keeping is not commanded to anyone until Exodus 16. God and Moses only command the JEWS and those who became Jews by circumcision of the flesh and a vow to keep the entire 613 commandments to keep the Sabbath. God never commands Chinese, Japanese, GENTLES to keep the old covenant made the Jews. acts 15, shows Gentile Christians are entirely free from the Sabbath and other Jewish ritual.

If Gentiles were obligated to keep the Sabbath, the prophet Daniel would have preached the Sabbath day to Babylon. He did no such thing and neither did any of the other prophets while Israel was in captivity. Not a single prophet, from Moses to Christ taught the Gentiles were obligated to keep the Sabbath Day. Neither Did Christ preach the Sabbath to Gentiles. And, the Apostles didn't teach the Sabbath Day to the Gentiles either. They condemned those who did in Acts 15, Col.2, Galatians.etc.

The Father doesn't quit working on the Sabbath as Christ said, "My Father works (on the Sabbath) hitherto and so do I (John 5:17). The day of preparation was for preparing food to eat on the Sabbath day, like the manna that fell 2x as much on the 6th in Exodus. However, God killed the Jew who picked up manna on the Sabbath.

@EricSaavy Curious as to why Daniel not telling the Gentiles to keep the Sabbath is significant?
And other than Lev 23:3 all those feasts and sabbaths had to do with the Sanctuary and the Jewish year for sacrifice and cleansing the Sanctuary on the Day of Atonement. Jesus was our Passover Lamb, which is what those pointed forward to. This is a HUGE study, but we can do it if you want. All those feasts and sabbaths have great significance to our time and what is coming.

@thatsmrtoyoubuddy I suggest you start at Genesis and see how far you get before you see who is BOTH Lord and Creator of the 1st day of the week. The word Sabbath doesn't show up until Exodus 19. No one keep a sabbath in Genesis 1, Not even God. Because, Christ said, regarding the Sabbath "I AND MY FATHER work" (on the Sabbath day). The bible doesn't say Adam or Eve or anyone else kept a Sabbath. So, you won't find "Sabbath" until it's commanded in Exodus 19. You don't know the bible.

your wasting your time showing Sabbatarians scripture. they are so Brain washed since they were kids that only God can remove the veil of Mosses from there eyes. i asked one SDA what it would take to prove to him that the Sabbath was done away and he said there is nothing you can show me. So pray that God will open there eyes.

In Hebrews 8:13, Paul declares, "In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away."
Paul then continues and talks about the first covenant and includes the 10 commandments in verse 4, chapter 9, "tables of the covenant". Later in verse 11, he proclaims, "but Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a GREATER and MORE PERFECT tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building;".

The Sabbath was given to the "children of Israel" (the Jews) after the flesh to keep not the Japanese, Chinese and the Africans.. What's the matter with you Sabbatarians? They falsely teach you have to live as a Jew does to be saved (acts 15:1, 5:ff. They are only using and abusing Christ to teach Judaism. They are heretics signed and sealed as such by the very apostles of Christ in Acts 15.

The Sabbath is not a mosaic law but written by the finger of God on two tablets. It is merely documented by Moses because he was there. Jesus and all of the disciples kept the Sabbath. there was no reason for gentiles to keep the levitical laws as they lost their importance when the curtain between the Holy and Most Holy was torn. According to Hebrews Jesus is now our high priest. Bottom line--it's safest to do what Jesus did. He is I AM and Creator of the Sabbath.

@Myhopeisinhim indeed I do. I see Jesus and His ministry in the sanctuary service and festivals. I eat according to the dietary laws. I follow the precepts given for hygiene and the legal system. I keep the 10 commandments including the forth and when I fall I rely on God's love, mercy, grace and forgiveness. I don't see obedience as a way to salvation but as evidence that I love Jesus who codified and kept the laws (not the things that the Jews added) and died for those of us who are lost.

Matthew 24 Jesus is speaking "himself" about the End of all ages or End times... Matthew 24:20 reads: "And pray your flight is not in the winter or on the SABBATH." This is biblical FACT that Jesus Himself is prophesying about the END TIMES which includes today 2/12/11 and beyond... Which makes the Sabbath (Saturday, the 7th day) still in effect...

it's not just any saturday, in fact, it is the the day after the new crescent sliver moon. We've been deceived in observing the julian calendar, as opposed to the lunar-soli calendar that muslims and jews believe(d). There are ways to ascertain this if you are unsure, as myself, being raised roman catholic, who now 'comes out of her' so to speak. It might not always follow on a saturday, as a result.

DaddyOjavenjack is right, lets worship Sunday and Saturday, more so, lets worship the Lord seven days a week. We are made to worship Him.Can we do that with our busy schedules? let's remember His day of rest which is on Saturday which the Almighty God Himself observed. Works without faith is nothing. Faith must be shown by your works. There are other churches who are coming to the realization and worshiping on God's instituted Sabbath day. Not only Seventh day Adventists. God Bless you all.

@16andsmoking we have to be very careful of the things we believe and say. God is a very specific God and if He kept the Sabbath and commanded that we do the same, there is no way we can call God petty for that. The Sabbath is a reminder of God's creation and that He is the creator. We cannot sit on youtube in search of the truth but by earnestly searching the word of God we will find. This video is just the first step to recognizing the truth, Blessings :)

The true Messiah guarded all His Father's commands (John 15:10) including the 7th day Sabbath (Luke 4:16).
As did His true followers (Luke 23:56; Acts 13:42,44; Acts 18:4).
IF we want to follow the true Messiah we will walk as He walked (1 John 2:3-7).
And the true Messiah, YaHuWshuaH, comes in His Father's Name, YaHuWaH (John 5:43). Hallelu~YaH !

There are only 7 days in a week and for the LORD to say remember the Sabbath, whether he used "day" or not, means only on that day, the 7th day is HIS HOLY SABBATH. That's the day of the week we are supposed to observe period. No man should tell us different or be able to convince us not to observe the 7th day of the week as the LORD'S HOLY SABBATH. No one can call Wednesday their SABBATH & hope to please the LORD as long as they keep "a" day, it MUST be the day HE said. IT IS WRITTEN OBEY IT!!

Just compare how 99% of the church use ACTS 20:7 and never teach about ACTS 13:42-44, 16:13, 17:2 and 18:4. I've seen hundreds of Sabbath Videos, but nowhere does the ten commandments prescribe a Saturday Worship, nowhere! Since there is no day actually called the Sabbath Day, but rather the day of the Sabbath (7th day). It doesn't matter what day of the week you deem it to be. Its based upon the calendar you keep. The church merely incorporated the Sabbath commandment into the Lord's Day (Sunday), nothing biblical wrong with that.

The week has not changed since the beginning of recorded history. The seventh day has always been saturday. Read Constantine's Council of Nicea canons dealing with "Judaizing". It shows that "Sun" day was Roman practice of worshipping "Sol Invictus" the day of the sun paying homage to Babylonian sun worship of Nimrod. Hence "Sunday Keeping" is actually sun worship which is Pagan and completely unbiblical. Because it was instituted by the Roman Church "The Beast", it is the mark of the Beast.

There are 20 canons from the council of Nicea, I've found none dealing with "Judaizing". Constantine had no vote at the council. It was held to discuss the deity of Christ, and to set the day of the Lord's resurrection. The Jewish calendars were numerous and unreliable, so a lunar calendar was adopted. Sunday is simply an anglo word; most Christian countries use the Lord's day on their calendar which coincides with our Sunday. This occured centuries before Constantine took power.

It depends on whether you believe what God says or mans traditions. Matthew 15:9 "But in vain they do worship me [they waste their time], teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
Daniel 7:25 "He will speak against the Most High and oppress his saints and try to change the set times and the laws."
What law involves time? Nothing wrong with changing God's Words, His law, His Sabbath?
Rev 22:19 Nothing wrong with changing that? Who's Word Stands? Better think carefully...

There is stil actually no day called the Sabbath day, only the day of the Sabbath. Why is that important? because the day of the Sabbath doesn't stand alone, it's predicated on the 7th day that's predicated on 6 days labor. If God actually named a "day" the Sabbath day, then we would absolutely have to observe it on that day. He chose not to so we wouldn't serve the created instead of the creator. He also created a safety net by demanding cessation so that no worship of the day would occur.

Isaiah 66:23 speaking of the New Earth after Christ comes: "from one Sabbath to another shall all flesh come worship before Me, saith the Lord." It's at least enduring until the New Earth.

1 Sabbath to another came to mean 1 week to another as a reckoning of time. In the New Testament the word Sabbath is frequently translated week. Look it up!

"But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the Sabbath." Matthew 24:20 Christ spoke of the destruction of Jerusalem, 40 years after His death and the prophecy of the end times. Here He identified Sabbath to be at least as enduring as winter and end times. If it truly doesn't matter what day, then out of love for God, why would we not WANT to just choose the only day He specified? I'd do more than that for someone here on earth if they asked me to meet them a certain day.

To know what Jesus meant by that statement, read the book of Macabees where a jewish sect in the wilderness refused to fight on the Sabbath, and were slaughtered. What he was telling the people was pray that this doesn't occur again when you're least prepared. Besides, we don't know if he was speaking of a floating or fixed Sabbath.

For as the NEW HEAVENS and the NEW EARTH, which "I WILL MAKE", shall remain before me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain. And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from ONE SABBATH TO ANOTHER, shall ALL FLESH come to WORSHIP before ME, "saith" the LORD.
That does not sound like a "shadow" to me!!!!

The sabbath was a shadow of things to come. Jesus said "come unto me all ye that labor and are heavey laden, and I will give you rest" (speaking of the Holy Ghost) When we rest from the works of the flesh (fornication, murder ex...) We are keeping the sabbath. The sabbath was for the man, not the man for the sabbath.

exactly, The Sabbath was for the man.. God rested on it. Sanctified it. Blessed it for us men. The rest (physical, emotional, etc.) is given for us to benefit, to remember the creation, to be hopeful from this world of hopelessness.
It was the Roman Church's power who transferred it to Sunday or Lord's Day but never by God / Jesus.

It was given to remind the people of a rest that was coming, that would come through Jesus Christ. It was a shadow.

In 321 AD Emperor Constantine followed the leading of the pope in changing the true Sabbath, Saturday to the first day of the week, Sunday. The RCC admits this openly stating that it was not changed by God, but by their own authority! God does not change; He is the same yesterday, today, and forevermore. God MUST be worshipped in Spirit and in Truth otherwise it will be rejected! Look at the lesson conerning Cain and Abel. God does not change. If God says the 7th day, it MUST be Saturday. Do not be deceived. The Bible gives this warning over and over again. Commandments are Commandments, God does not change. Do not judge others, but judge yourself and ensure you are doing right.
