  • Beautiful. Ms. Colvin and Mr. Dylan would be proud.

  • YOU EVER DONE CLAY PIDGEONS ? IWOULD REALLY APPRECIATE IT

  • Quite beautiful. You captured the spirit of Bob Dylans most timeless classic. Anyone who's ever been on love can relate to this tune. I enjoyed your picking and your voice. Record yourself and listen often so you can make the necessary adjustments and you will be a perfect vocalist. I loved listening to this and I'm going to email it to my GF before she goes on safari in Africa.

  • 5*

  • All I can say is sweet : ) love to hear you live somewhere. As diametrically oppossed to what joecburke offers in his*coughs* review, follow your vocal it's beautiful, but separation from your vocal*the big thingy* and your picking is all that's needed. Keep doing what you you busker and merry Christmas ; )

  • I love both the original and the Shawn Colvin versions of this song, and I like the unique qualities you have brought to it.

  • JUST FOUND YOUR MUSIC TONIGHT VERY GOOD

  • Your guitar playing is very nice. On the vocals, try singing this as soft but rich or as a fast love song but don't push, with the same tempo. On the microphone, push the volume (recording) up but turn your voice down to get your softer and lower registers involved. Also while keeping the tempo at this rate, don't rush your singing or the pronunciation of the words. Most young singers compensate for weak microphones or bad recording sensitivity by forcing the voice, and this isn't necessary.

  • Thanks for the advice. I'll try putting your suggestions into practice.

  • You are hugely talented and a joy to listen to. Please never stop playing.

  • Sweeeet.... You should do a version of this on 5 string!! It'd haunt my Irish soul.... ;)

  • beautiful cover. but are you cold with all the snow outside?

  • Outstanding guitar playing. Excellent singing. Thanks!

  • Some of the best guitar playing since Joan Baez.

  • I love this song :o)

  • not right - sorry :-(

  • There's a great version by an English guy - Ben Watt.

  • With the amber light on you (very winsome) and the snowy background outside this is a visual delight as well as the usual playing joy.

It would be good to hear your voice with a better recorded signal. When's the album coming out?

  • love shawn's version, & you play it with such sincerity that you practically reinvented it. good one! (the view outdoors complements the message of the song too)

  • Great job!

  • I wondered through videos of John Prine, which lead to Norah Jones version. I kept seeing you pop up. I'll say this. We could go on a road trip anytime and agree on what CD is next. Many positive comments could be made, but we don't want you getting too big of a head. Thanks for the smiles and good times night.

  • Would you do a cover of Afternoon Delight?

  • wow! your playing and voice and amazing and beautiful! thank you!

  • I've never heard this in C before. I like it.

  • tell you what sugar you done made me lonsome and i aint never met you

  • Fantastic! (as usual, ha ha) Always great guitar playing, and really nice to hear you singing.

    Thanks and Cheers!

  • Proof that you don't just copy. Dylan's was in open E (or D with a 2nd fret Capo) but this is a sweet version. Please do Buckets of Rain! That's in open E (duh, at your level I'm sure you knew that).

  • Wonderful, honey. I'm jealous.

  • When you do Dylan songs, I get the chills down my spine.
