I can account for seventeen 911`s and over 40 944`s that were purchased to be parted out, thankfully they were damaged and went to Porsche owners who kept their car on the road. Porsche for life.

Who is to say what is unreasonable as to restoration cost. At some point the value of a Porsche will rise to exceed the expense of the repair. If I still had my '60 Roadster I could sell it, pay off my mortgage and buy a nice 911.

From 1968 to 1972 my parents owned A 1956 356A Speedster-From 1978 to 1981 I owned A 1973 914 1.7-I hope others are enjoying these cars today ! I think I can scrimp and save to buy A Mid-Late 80's 911 3.2 Carrera . We were, and are, "working class" enthusiasts ! It's great to know this company cares about their heritage and present (and future) car owners ! ! !
