All Anderson Cooper had to do was use Google to call up the CBC archive report where Arar tells the CBC that only Jordan would let him in from the USA. Maher Arar's own web site details his fair treatment by the USA and that he was denied entry by himself from a Flight from Tunisia when he fled to and lived with Hamas friendly relatives. His Palestinian wife is listed as being at a Pro-Hamas rally in Ottawa, and she fails to tell the MSM why she was in Tunisia and why she never showed up to meet her husband in Jordan.

I wish American's would have read or followed the Arar inquiry because this video I'm watching is full of falsehoods by it's omission of the whole story. Arar was a Draft-Dodoger at 17 who fled to canada, he got a gun permit just after the mass slaughter by jihad from Gamil Ghrabi in Montreal in 1989. Arar was seen at a Radical Mosque in Boston,also had a 2nd home near the 9/11 Boston Airport. The Arar's fled canada after a homew raid by the RCMP that found items hidden in walls and the attic.

This guy has a dual Syrian and Canadian citizenship who resides in Canada. He was in USA when he was captured, and then sent to Syria, so why Canada should pay him $10.5M. Mr. Arar was awarded that money because the Canadian government did almost nothing to secure his release. They visited him in Syria numerous times, a country the Canadians knew was notorious for torture, and left him there.
