Sembrerebbe anche disponibile :) Occhio che i pickup sono cattivelli e con una notevole uscita, ma suonano bene (io poi ci ho messo dei PAF ma non perché i pickup di base fossero scadenti, anzi)

@stefguitar90 no, niente astuccio la solita "bara" di cartone. L'unico inconveniente che ho riscontrato su quattro spedizioni è stato un selettore di una stratocaster rovinatosi nel viaggio, un selettore di qualità modesta comunque. Selettore e potenziometri della LP non sono invece male, anzi. A parte il capotasto in plastica, tipico di tutti gli strumenti di fascia inferiore a un certo tanto (e facilmente sostituibile, le misure sono quelle standard) il resto è di discreta o ottima fattura.

yeh you can record audio via podxt usb but how'd you get the video? and synchronized it?

@kustomkarson recording with any video software (i used quicktime for example, anything for a webcam should be ok) and setting audio source as your usb pedalboard, there are not problem of syncrony usually. it depends on software and type of conversion, loose of syncrony is caused most of time of missing frames rendering video so the lenght of two traks wont fit

@dpsource i used quicktime, setting as audio input the pod. should work with any pedalboard with usb connections (pods, tonelabs etc) so the tone remain digital after the modeling. i don't remember exactly the settings i'm not using the pod xt anymore, anyway i avoided to use compression, equalization, modulation, noise gate on pod... it damage the tone...

connecting a pod xt via usb results in random bursts of deafening static or whitenoise. do not buy! warning buying a pci usb card does not solve the problem either!

@sonofhendrix mmm pod is very silent, and when connected to a computer usually silence is more than alone as the pc has the ground (the 9v power supply for pod miss ground, and i notice a difference when it is grounded). if your pod become noisy when connected to your computer, i guess the pod is ok as it should quite strange just the usb connector has problems. problem can be the ground (maybe pc or power plug is not grounded) or some electrical part who put unwanted noise in usb circuit

Well, i have an Pod XT Live too, but when i record something it allways sounds "electric".

Do you know why ?

@XAyubi it really depends on settings. i usually avoid stomp and modulation on pod i find they damage a lot the tone. some software solution like amplitube is far better, anyway a pod with a right setting can play in a very interesting with some amps (marshall and vox especially, some others are not so interesting or bad for my ears). using less saturation can improve the tone, i find the pod not so good on hi gain tones, it felt unrealistic

@XAyubi usually it is not a great idea mixing modeling and real tubes, and especially have an alaogue/digital conversion before preamp (and the xt a/d conversion is quite poor). if you did some try with all in bypass, you'll ear what is missing. anyway with the bullet the things you loose can be compensate, and pod play quite good with solid state amps. amplitube is great, but you need a good audio interface... not the pod xt, or will play worst than pod. you need some try and check to find tone

@jamoney6444 it is an idea i've from a lot of time. throug skype for example an usb pod can be eard with a more than decent quality. the problem is the latency, you will ear with a bit ot late every note and when you play the signal wll come back with more latency, so it results quite difficult play togheter. except for this problem (maybe solved with faster lines in future) can be a great idea

@LKJHGFDSA2222 ok, if you installed yet driver and your computer recognize input and output card into xt live you're ready to record. a very important suggestion i can give is to use less things as possibile, at least at start. use just amp, no compression, no stomp, no effect (consider you can add modulation and reverb/dilay via software in a second time with a much better quality). use just amp and set volume of the amp high, usually it wont distort. start using all by default

@LKJHGFDSA2222 there are several, i'm a mac user and garageband or logic are very good. but there are a lot for any platform (cubase for example). it depends also of your need, if you want just record guitar you can use even something lighter like audacity (is freeware). for play over base there are something from like6 too like riffworks (i'm not sure about name), you can download demo at line6 homepage

@MikeOrkid very low, i cant notice playing and on track is very very short almost minimal and can be leaved like this without sync. anyway you have to turn off the monitor on your software when recording, or this will slow a lot (not just with pod, with any digital audio font).

mmmm ma sei sicuro che non sia in ontano il corpo della tua? a me sembra strano in mogano nelle strato bach... la mia è ontano con il top in acero. (non è mogano la danno o mogano o ontano, la mia è ontano che va molto meglio per una strat). io credo che pickup siano identici, non so che tipo di tastiera la tua abbia ma penso che i suoni siano circa analoghi come analoghi saranno i pickup e l'hardware

Boh sul sito dice che ha il corpo in mogano ed il manico e la tastiera in acero,in effetti è strano per una strato il corpo in mogano,però ho letto da qualche parte che la bach fa le sue chitarre quasi esclusivamente in mogano,salvo qualche modello. macomunque ,da quello che ho potuto sentire sul web , fa strumenti veramente ottimi, stò gia pensando di prendere anche una lp..sono indeciso tra amber o tobacco, è strano che anche in quel caso siano così diverse, a parte il colore..

usano molto il mogano, facilmente reperibile in quell'area. per esempio non fanno nulla in frassino (le telecaster sarebbero per lo piu in frassino, ci sono anche delle strato in frassino). fanno chitarre eccellenti, ed anche i pickup stock sono degni di nota nonostante il prezzo farebbe supporre altrimenti. il legno incide nel timbro, ma non in modo esasperato, e alcune "simil stratocaster" sono in mogano, quindi io penso che suoni bene. le les paul, che sono particolarmente difficili

da realizzare, in quanto il manico è incollato (e diciamo che se fai "cagate" ti trovi action non correggibili oltre un certo livello, è molto piu complicato e costoso come procedimento), sono fatte particolarmente bene, io ne ho una e ne ho provata una seconda ed erano una meglio dell'altra anche se molto differenti come timbrica. a quel prezzo è incredibile, ma anche senza considerare il prezzo, rimangono chitarre competitive e non con le epiphone (che fanno a pezzi) con quelle serie!

hai ragione, sai che non l'avevo mai notato? :) no comunque non ho toccato nulla, è la chitarra di serie inclusa corde (che sono esattamente quelle che utilizzo) e setup, che era praticamente perfetto di fabbrica. ruotando il pickup, si qualcosa cambia, visto che c'è una bobina principale che sta esterna (ovvero in corrispondenza della misura di 1/4 della tastiera o quanto piu vicino possibile se la chitarra ha 24 tasti) e l'altra vicina ma non esattamente corrispondente

i dont know... this is plexy variac amp with reverb, and that's all... no equalisation... are you sure you're using the cab emulating effect? (in pod xt is a square stomp output mode near the displatìy)

Thanks for the test! I have been interested in this guitar for a while, but never been able to find an experienced guitar player who can rate it. ...Until I found your vid =)

How would you rate it compared to more premium guitars like Gibson LP std and perhaps Fender AM in terms of playability and finish? What about the sound (PUPs, electronics)?

The top is not real wood but rather laminated, right? Looks fantastic though!

no no, top is real wood, with flamed maple finish. anyway it wont be in all model, depending on price (this is a selected model). the only thing that is not high level is the pearl finish on frets, all rest is very very good, surprisingly good to be honest for price. woods are great, in mine i can see even back the wood veins and it look in just one piece. humbucker seem a super distortion clone, so ceramic high level but with a good quality tone, check i've put another video with an ac4 so

you can compare, as i've put before a similiar vid with a strat with custom shop 54 pu and same amp and mic. bridge is very good, with rollers inside and various settings. neck is fat and confortable, the body is heavy and has a great acustic tone and a long sustain

grazie :) sto facendo un po di raffronti, hanno un volume di uscita elevatissimo questi pickup, a orecchio mi sembrano tipo dei super distortion della dimarzio (rispetto agli ej custom che ho sulla bennett sono molto piu potenti, ma anche del jeff beck)

thank you :) BaCh is a brand from Czek Republic and is semi artigianal, so no million of guitars produced and is quite difficult to find one without ordering. for this reason too is cheap but not so cheap (an sx cost an half-third) but quality too is different, bridge is fantastic, tuners are good and electronic look very good. i've buyed from the italian store (search noizewood on google) or check the original czek site looking for bachmusik (you know i cant link here :)
